TAP Privacy Notice

This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal data about you
during and after TAPTM implementation in accordance with the Privacy regulation
as applicable to your geography. We may update this notice at any time.

TAPTM is Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) cloud-based procure-to-pay capabilities
offerings comprising contracts, purchasing, accounts payable, and supplier
management. To provide access to the solution, we may collect, store, and use
one or more of the following personal data about you:

 * Processors of personal data

TCS is a "data processor" and we process your data in accordance with the
instructions from your organization. We do not act as data controller of the end
users of the platform. TCS will process the data as per the rules and processing
norms defined by your organization. We will not share or transfer this
information with outsiders not related to the context of TAPTM application
unless explicitly insisted on writing by your Organisation. We have put in place
appropriate technical and organizational procedures to protect your data as
required by and agreed with your organization.

 * What personal data does TAPTM collect and how

The data, besides basic personal details like, employee id, name, email, phone
number, may include location-based information like office address (optional),
and any special type of information like date of birth (optional), and gender
(optional). The information is provided by your organization and is based on the
services selected by your organization.

Your organization (Data Controller) has provided us consent at the time of
signing contract to process the above information for realizing the benefits of
TAPTM application

Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or
consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted
by law.

For any specific questions in relation to the processing of your data in this
application, please refer your organizations Privacy Policy.

 * Cookies and online identifiers?

TAPTM does not use any explicit cookies or online Identifiers.

 * What is the purpose of processing the personal data and the legal basis for
   processing?

TCS requires your personal data to provide you with the services selected by
your organization. TCS will process the data as per the rules and processing
norms defined by your organization. TCS will not collect any personal data not
required for providing selected services. TCS does not obtain or collected
information from sources not authorized by your information.

 * Is personal data of children below 16 years of age gathered?

TAPTM does not use information from users below the age of 16.

 * For what duration is the personal data retained?

Your data will be retained in TAPTM for the duration of contract with your
organization or for as long as you remain an active user or as required by law
and erased thereafter.

 * Does TAPTM share personal data with anyone?

TCS does not share personal data with anyone. No 3rd party has access to your
data unless it is required by the law.

 * Does TAPTM transfer personal data to a third country?

TAPTM is hosted in servers located in UK and processed by staff located in
India. Tata Consultancy Services has a very strict Data Protection policies to
ensure secure and safe processing of your data.

 * Is the personal data used for any automated decision making?

TAPTM does not use personal data for any automated decision making

 * What measures are taken to ensure the security of processing?

We ensure that there are appropriate physical and technical security measures in
place to prevent access to personal information by unauthorized persons and also
protect it against accidental loss, destruction or damage. In particular

 * HTTPS to encrypt information during transmission

 * Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing of the software

 * Access to product and servers is restricted to authorized users

We use your data (including your communications) if we think its necessary for
security purposes or to investigate possible fraud or other violations of our
User Agreement or this Privacy Policy and/or attempts to harm our members or
visitors.

 * What are your rights?

TCS, is only data processor, and only has obligations to the extent of
technically enabling these Rights to the data subject and anything exceeding the
same will be the obligation of Data Controller

You will have access to your personal information in TAPTM all the time. In case
you find that information is not correct you will have mechanism and process in
TAP for data correction or data deletion unless it is required to keep that
information for legitimate business or legal purposes.

Where we can provide information access and correction, we will do so for free,
except where it would require a disproportionate effort. We aim to maintain our
services in a manner that protects information from accidental or malicious
destruction. Because of this, after you delete information from our services, we
may not immediately delete residual copies from our backup systems.

We have appointed Data Protection Officers (DPOs) to oversee compliance of TCS
with applicable data protection laws and with this privacy notice. If you have

TCS, being a processor, will only have obligations to the extent of technically
enabling these Rights to the data subject and anything exceeding the same will
be the obligation of Data Controller

If you decide to withdraw consent, no new data would be collected and the
existing data would be removed from system or handled as per the legal
compliance. The data from residual copies may not be immediately deleted from
our backup servers.

 * What policies are in place for reporting any incidents of data breaches?

The TCS is committed to ensuring that your personal information is used properly
and is kept securely. TCS has necessary controls in place to secure your
personal information. In case of an untoward incident of data breach, TCS will
report it to the relevant authority in your organization, providing details of
the data breach, its likely consequences and any measures taken to
remedy/mitigate the breach.

technologies to provide our websites and to help collect data. The text in a
