Hi, I'm Kayla. The Farmstyle is dedicated to helping busy moms create delicious,
simple, and family-friendly meals, while learning about the joys of farm life
and where food comes from. I share easy family friendly meals with a sprinkle of
our life on our farm in Idaho. We live on a generational farm raising row crops,
beef cattle, and hay. The newest additions to our farm include chickens and an
expanding garden, all of which my community will be along for the journey.

I use at least one or two recipes a week from the books I have, I love that my
kids will eat with no complaints. I also really like that I usually have most or
all of the ingredients I need with out an extra trip to the store. A few of our
family favorites are the chili, garlic chicken bites, and cowboy casserole, I’ve
made them a lot!

managed to create my sourdough starter from scratch AND bake three successful
loaves of bread thanks to Kayla’s amazingly simple recipe and endless guidance.
She has such a way with her teaching! I am extremely pleased with Kayla and all

Thanks to Kayla I am feeling super confident in my sourdough abilities-again
(read to see what I mean by again)

I have made a handful of my own sourdough starters and loaves of bread but the
process would take me around 10 days from start to finish if I was starting from
scratch 6 (thanks to the complex recipes I’d find and try out online) then add
in my overthinking annnnnd… You can guess the rest. Overwhelming.

My brain in a nutshell.

It is a process but if you’re an over thinker like me, I HIGHLY recommend
Kayla’s sourdough class!
