In Ableton 7, Is it possible to save a new preset instrument after i added some
effects on it ?
or do i have to save the project as a live set, then load it whenever i need
that sound back?
Thanks.

One option: Select your instrument and effects together, right-click to group.
Then drag the new device to your desired folder in the device browser and name
it appropriately.

Hold down SHIFT and click everything that you want grouped together. Then right
click and select "group". Then click the save button on the group to save it as
a preset. This will do exactly what you are asking for.

Or use Ctrl-A if you want every device to be selected.
