Who is Emily Rogers and why has everyone trusted her with all her rumors? Thanos_Galactus 5 years ago#1 Is she a nintendo insider? why hasn't nintendo pulled the plug on her or sued her if she keeps leaking secrets? CrazyMeows 5 years ago#2 She was the first one to leak everything about the Switch. Everyone made fun of her and said how obvious it was she was lying. She then became a meme where everyone had fun acting like how stupid she was and what a liar she was, Then after the reveal every single thing she said was 100% absolutely correct. So they probably believe her no matter what to not look like idiotic douche bags again? Not really. He's almost completely correct. SpacePr8Roberts 5 years ago#6 Thanos_Galactus posted... > Is she a nintendo insider? why hasn't nintendo pulled the plug on her or sued > her if she keeps leaking secrets? No, she isn't a Nintendo insider, she's a gaming journalist with at least one source who is. If Nintendo figures out who that person (or persons) is they'll be in deep s***, but there's nothing they can do against Emily herself. The law can't compel you to keep a secret you never agreed to keep; otherwise every mainstream news outlet that talked about stuff from wikileaks would've been shut down. It can only punish the person who DID agree to keep the secret and then told you anyway, and in most cases, as long as you refuse to divulge their identity there's nothing to be done. It was too big to be called a sword. Massive, thick, heavy, and far too rough. Indeed, it was a heap of raw iron. NintendoGamer83 5 years ago#7 I enjoyed Soul Calibur 5 on Wii U. She told us that was coming. Oh wait. The rules don't really matter until users stop having a free pass. Until then, its just targeted harassment. Enigma149 5 years ago#8 Emily Rogers is a person with a very hit-or-miss track record on Nintendo rumors. She got everything (literally - EVERYTHING) right about the Switch, so people trust her now. She also has this weird hate parade that seems to dislike everything about her, and a creepy fan cult that wants to brush all of her past mistakes (and there are a lot -SC5, Mother 3, half of her Wii U predictions) under the rug. But no, she's not an insider. She has an inside source, one that must be in a position where they get accurate info on consoles but shaken info on games, but she's not official or anythingz NNID: CrimsonEnigma PSN: ZlopeHoke abbyhitter 5 years ago#9 Is there a picture of her anywhere? I would like to put a face with the name. abbyhaxxor<3 I always rush here to tell GameFAQs my problems! Well if someone told them and they were trying to figure out who and she won't say anything wouldn't that make her an accomplice and she can be punished for that right?
