SPECIAL CARGO

Livestock carrier "Abou Karim IV" that unmoored from quay No. 142 on the 11th of
January 2014 carried special cargo - 1080 alive livestock (the total weight -
611,175 tn). Such type of special cargo - alive livestock was transported for
the first time not only in the history of Klaipeda Seaport, but also in the
history of all Eastern Baltic Seaports.

 460 meters.
Quay No. 143 is designed for the heaviest (maximum) LOADS.
The record of  Port dues collected per month - 5,57 mln Eur.

Vessel "GNG CONCORD 3" (length 225 m, width 32.26 m), the largest parameters
vessel, that has ever called Malku Bay, was moored at quay No. 140. This bulk
carrier here loaded the largest amount of grain (65 495 tn).
