MPACT REPORTS EARNINGS AND DIVIDEND GROWTH IN CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT
Salient features from continuing operations
* Operating profit increased by 37% to R531 million (June 2022: R387 million)
* Strategic growth projects contributed positively to results
* Headline earnings per share up 33% to 188 cents (June 2022: 142 cents)
* Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) improved to 18.7% (June 2022: 18.0%)
* Interim dividend declared of 45 cents per share (June 2022: 40 cents per
share)

Mpact’s latest polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottle design, the Integrated
Moulded Handle (IMH™) clinched a Gold Medal in the IPSA Gold Pack Awards this
week, as well as the top accolade as a joint winner of the coveted Gold Pack
