LIFE IN A BLUE SUIT

It has often been suggested that I should write a book. However I am either too
busy or too lazy to actually achieve this (I suspect the latter is the most
applicable).

A couple of times I noted down some experiences, for use in speeches and
addresses. I once started to put together the history of HMNZS MONOWAI (A06) but
didn’t get very far. This project was taken up by the late Lt Cdr David Price
RNZN who was most tenacious in pursuing this task. His work resulted in a book
“HMNZS MONOWAI A SURVEY SHIP” which was printed (3 copies only) by, and which is
held by the RNZN Museum.
