ESG TRAINING COURSES 2024

Global Markets Training is pleased to present two online training courses where
delegates will learn how artificial intelligence can be used to enhance an ESG
investing strategy with the use of a Large Language Model such as ChatGPT. Also
included in our 2024 training schedule is Carbon Accounting which examines the
accounting of green house gas emissions.

CARBON ACCOUNTING

Online Training



Carbon Accounting is an online training course for corporations looking to learn
how to implement accounting of their greenhouse gas emissions. The course begins
by explaining what is climate change, climate governance and the relationships
between business and climate change. The course goes on to examine the carbon
accounting arena.

 

Attendees will learn about the regulations and standards in the field of carbon
accounting, how the GHG Protocol works in detail, the different methodologies of
carbon accounting, and how to set carbon reduction targets and develop action
plans to meet them.

 

Who should attend: finance officers, corporate reporting, ESG analysts, CSR
managers, sustainability consultants, controllers

 

Schedule: The course takes place over the following days, comprising two hours
teaching on each day from 1:00 to 3:00pm (UK time).

AI FOR ESG INVESTING

AI for ESG Investing is a two-day online training course that explores how
investment managers and analysts can use a large language model (LLM) such as
ChatGPT to compute ESG ratings on listed companies. Delegates will learn about
the capabilities and limitations of ChatGPT and how it can be used to compute
ESG ratings of companies that result in similar outcomes as expensive rating
products. The course also examines how to use corporate sustainability data to
calculate and compare ESG ratings and how to analyse ESG sentiment using big
data sources.

 

Who should attend: fund managers, hedge funds, ESG and equity analysts,
sustainability professionals.
