software and safely stored until you need them.

WHAT IS BOOMERANG?

It’s device reprovisioning without the faff

Phones and computers in your estate will pass through many hands throughout
their life and our lifecycle reprovisioning service ensures this process is as
smooth and easy as possible.

Just because you have a new employee, or new project, no longer means having to
procure expensive new hardware – instead, upcycle what you already have in your
estate of devices.

With little effort at your end

We use DPD for a convenient, zero-effort collection service. You won’t have to
sort out packaging because the driver will bring a secure transit box for your
device, and you won’t have to wait in all day for the collection because you’ll
be given a one-hour collection slot on the day.

So, if you’re reallocating a laptop to a freelancer, or reprovisioning a tablet
for a new starter, we’ll ensure the devices are fit for purpose and reconfigured
to the needs of their new owners before shipping everything straight to them.




WHAT DEVICES CAN I BOOMERANG?

Our Boomerang (lifecycle management) service is open to all devices.

Any existing device

Whether HardSoft or third party supplied, you can repurpose some or all your
business IT devices by signing up to our Boomerang subscription service, while
having the freedom to add or remove devices from the service as you see fit.

Minimum of three devices

There is a minimum of three devices for a 12 month period, and we can store them
for free up to 90 days.

Boomerang on an ad-hoc basis

We even offer our reprovisioning service on devices outside of a subscription if
you don’t have a frequent need.


WHAT ARE THE COSTS?

Boomerang is a cost-effective service for managing the reallocation of your used

HOW DO I GET BOOMERANG?

If you’re an existing customer, your Account Manager will be happy to set you
and your devices up to take full advantage of our device lifecycle reprovision
service for a minimum of three devices for 12 months.

If you’re new to Devices for Teams, you can choose to add Boomerang to your
account in the signup process.

Or, if you just want to repurpose a few computer devices without subscribing,
then fill out the form below and we’ll be in touch to discuss your needs.


BOOMERANG IN SIX EASY STEPS


STEP 1: BOOK A COLLECTION

Complete our on-line collection form and you’ll be on your way to boomeranging
your devices. Back up your data if you need.


STEP 2: SIT TIGHT

On the morning of your collection we’ll advise you of a one-hour time slot,
which we can happily rearrange if you won’t be around.


STEP 3: PICK UP

We will arrive at the collection address with a protective crate with all the
packaging needed, so you won’t need to worry boxing it up safely.


STEP 4: YOUR DEVICE ARRIVES

We’ll check it over, securely wipe the data and prepare it for the next user.
Your data is safe as we are ISO certified.


STEP 5: A PLACE TO STAY

If you’re not ready for your device to be redeployed immediately, we’ll store it
until needed at no extra for up to 90 days.


STEP 6: SHIP TO NEW USER

Give us 24-hours’ notice when you’re ready to redeploy. We’ll get it shipped to
any home or office address in the UK.


A GREENER SOLUTION

Using our Boomerang service is an environmentally friendly way to hold on to the
tech you already own, or are already leasing, and put it back to work.

We chose DPD as our courier of choice for Boomerang because of their impressive
green credentials. For example, their fleet of delivery vehicles is 10%
electric, their packaging is 80% reclaimed material and 100% recyclable, and
100% of their waste avoids landfill.
