WELCOME TO ASG ASTRONOMY, LLC

Dedicated to deep space astrophotography and home of the Photon Cage.



ASG Astronomy, llc was designed to be a showcase astrophotography artwork,
tutorials, and custom astronomy products developed and used by ASG Astronomy. 
We enjoy all things related to the science and also providing useful tools if we
see a need.

ASG Astronomy is home of the Photon Cage, a unique device designed to cover a
range of astronomy needs including 4-corner precision tilting, independent
backfocus adjustment, and various filter slider accessories in one unit.  We
provide custom mounts, 3d parts, and more, so enjoy the site.  Be sure to follow

ASG PHOTON CAGE

A complete precision tilt device, backfocus adjuster, and removable filter
slider that is modular and moves from scope to scope with your camera.




RASA’S, REFRACTORS, REFLECTORS, SCT’S, AND MORE

The ASG Photon Cage is designed to give 4-corner tilt and removable filter
sliding across all telescopes.




ROUND STARS & FLAT IMAGES

The only way to achieve quality corners is to adjust tilt and backfocus. 
Problem is most camera tilt plates become unusable when installed.  Not anymore.




CUSTOM CAMERA MOUNTS

We also offer custom camera mounts to open your 42mm or 48mm optical train to
54mm.  Get less obstructed light on your RASA with bigger bore camera mounts.
