Important Safety Notice - Fire and Burn Hazard, Do Not Use Dehumidifier

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), certain
Kenmore brand dehumidifiers are being recalled. The Sears Kenmore dehumidifiers
have a Kenmore logo on the front top of the unit. The recall only includes
certain models manufactured by LG Electronics between 2003 and 2005, and sold
between 2003 and 2009 for between $140 and $220. The dehumidifiers can overheat,
smoke, melt and catch on fire, posing fire and burn hazards to consumers. To
determine whether your dehumidifier is being recalled, please follow the
instructions, below.

Consumers with recalled dehumidifier units must immediately stop using these
units and disconnect them by unplugging them. Every potential user of the unit
should be informed of the risk of fire and told not to use the dehumidifier.
