otters who constantly get out of the water just to dive back in. Zootastic is a
fundraiser for the Zoological Society and helps us conserve, educate and support
the Zoo.

OUR CONSERVATION EFFORTS

We’re working to build a better world for all living things. At the Zoological
Society of Milwaukee, we create and participate in conservation initiatives that
work to address the conservation of endangered species in the wild and those
breeding in human care. We invest in conservation education, monitor high-risk
species, and focus on preserving natural and zoo habitats.

Every Zoo Pass you purchase, class you attend, and program you participate in
brings us another step closer to our conservation goals. Together, we can make a
difference!

SUPPORTING THE ZOO

What began as an informal group of community leaders dedicated to raising funds
for and bringing animals to the Zoo in 1910 has grown into a full non-profit
organization now dedicated to conservation and education while continuing our
original mission to support the Milwaukee County Zoo. Together with the Zoo, we
work to drive attendance; enhance awareness; and build functional, safe and
natural habitats for the Zoo’s incredible animals. We also work to raise funds
to cover the cost of creating and maintaining educational and innovative
programs for the community and to fund several of the Zoo’s wildlife research
and conservation projects.

How We Help the Zoo

HELP THE SOCIETY

Join us in working to conserve wildlife, endangered species, and the
environment. Let’s make a difference together and create life-long memories
while we’re doing it. Pursue a passion for conservation, a respect for nature,
and love for animals while encouraging future generations to get involved.
