We are Grant & Sara Dotson. As a husband and wife team, we bring a unique
perspective to photography, one influenced by life experiences as well as
comprehensive art and design training. Our cameras are an extension of not only
our eyes, but our minds and hearts, instantly capturing moments and emotions
just as they occur. We enjoy getting to know our clients on a personal level and
helping them feel that they're a part of a partnership. Every client is
different, and our photographs seek to reflect each individual personality for
truly unforgettable memories.

AMY & JOE: ENGAGED

Amy is an incredibly talented designer with Widgets & Stone, and I’ve worked
with her on several commercial photography projects in the past. So I was really
excited when she got in touch to tell me she was engaged, and asked us to
photograph the wedding! I met her and Joe at Renaissance Park on the nicest day
of the year for their engagement shoot, and they were perfect subjects. And at
the end of the shoot, Joe had already made reservations for them to have a date
while they were all dressed up. Thanks guys—can’t wait for September!

VIRGINIA & RUPERT, ENGAGED

Virginia and Rupert were kind enough to let me steal some of their time on a
brief visit down from their home in New York for a quick engagement shoot. We
tell all of our new clients that one of our favorite things about an engagement
shoot is simply getting to know each other, and that was definitely the case
with these two. I felt like we had a great connection right from the start, and
that made them very easy to work with.

JESSE + SKYLAR: MARRIED!

After having such a wonderful time photographing her sister’s wedding, we were
thrilled when Jesse contacted us about her engagement. We heard her tell the
story of their proposal twice—once at our first meeting, and once on the morning
of the wedding. Both times she was moved to tears telling the story. Skylar and
Jesse are so in love, and we couldn’t be happier to join their family again to
document their marriage. Their wedding and reception took place at the Mill in
December. Thanks especially to Cheryl at Blissful Moments for planning the
wedding. Congratulations guys!

JENNIFER & CLAY, MARRIED

Jennifer and Clay are so so kind not only to each other, but to everyone around
them. They seemed more like caring hosts than the bride and groom, and we had a
wonderful time with them. We had a great experience photographing their
engagement on the North Shore, so I knew their wedding at the Fairyland Club was
going to be a lot of fun. They did not disappoint. Enjoy!
