ARE REFURBISHED PHONES OR RECONDITIONED PHONES GOOD QUALITY?
All of the refurbished mobile phones sold by The Big Phone Store have passed a
rigorous 90-point check to make sure that they work as well as a brand new
device. However, the cosmetic condition of each refurbished phone will vary.
These are the conditions in which we sell our second hand mobile phones:
* Like New phones are in perfect working order. A premium phone with no visible
signs of use! The only difference between a brand new phone and a Like New
one is that the brand new device comes in factory-sealed packaging.
* Pristine Phones come in in excellent condition with only light signs of use,
with no visible marks when held more than 12 inches from your face.
* Very Good Phones are a used product with light to moderate signs of use.
There are some visible scratches, but these should not impact the experience
of using the phone.
* "Good" Condition phones are the cheapest way to get a device with no
technical issues whatsoever. The product may have scratches or dents, but
each mark knocks money off the price tag.
To reiterate, each of these conditions is prurely cosmetic. These are all fully
tested, full working devices that pass our rigorous 90-point check perfectly,
and each comes with our full 12-month warranty.
We also sell phones in "Fair" condition. These are by far our cheapest devices,
as a Fair phone may feature some minor technical fault - such as slightly
reduced battery life or minor screen burn. To reflect this, these phones come at
rock-bottom prices, and by saving a Fair phone from landfill you're making the
most eco-friendly purchase possible. Fair phones come with a 3-month warranty.

Every refurbished mobile phone sold by The Big Phone Store goes through an
extensive testing process and we carry out up to 70 automated tests to ensure
your device is fully functional prior to dispatch. Our fully-trained, phone
testing professionals test every aspect of the phone to ensure that it works as
intended.
We test everything from the battery condition and the battery life, whether the
screen displays any screen burn, and we ensure that any data has been wiped from
the phone as well. We use software and our own professional expertise to test
our phones and perform repairs using industry-grade tools, many of which are
sourced from the original manufacturer of the phone.
