From that moment on, life gets turned upside down. Nothing but questions come to mind and all efforts focus on arrangements that need to be made. Out of town relatives and friends feel they need to drop what they're doing, and find a way to attend the funeral and to be there for the family. Unfortunately, that's not always possible. Sometimes illness, financial constraints, family or work responsibilities prevent the bereaved from attend a funeral.

Let me make this very personal - my dear old mum died nearly two years ago, after suffering from Alzheimer's for a number of years, and we certainly feel her loss. Our family's faith as Catholics, does not do away with that loss, nor does it lessen it, nor does it remove the tears. But I know that she has not ceased to exist, no more than our love for each other has ceased. I talk to her but she's not here, and that's hard. And so I keep my eyes on Jesus, who assures me that a day is coming when we will meet up again. Mum is gone, but not forever. That hole in my heart will one blessed day be filled again, not by some poor substitute, but by the real person I lost for a while, and the infirmity and horror of Alzheimer's will be no more. This is God's doing, and it is wonderful to behold!

Basket of Flowers: This can be either with or without an actual handle; it is just a variety of flowers that is sent to either the funeral home or home of the deceased.

Set aside time to think about all the above things. The length of time doesn't particularly matter. Half an hour. An hour. A couple of hours. The important thing is to have a set time.

Years past, the grave and its existence disappeared. A tractor mower had knocked over the temporary grave marker, and weeds soon engulfed this neglected resting-place. It was almost as if the man had never lived at all. It remained that way for almost seven years following his death.

Since the beginning of time people have wondered what happens after death. Some believe that death is the end of existence. Others think they will come back as another being. The Bible affirms that there is life after death. We know little of what life after death will be like, but Scripture assures us that it will be far better than what we have experienced on earth.

Eulogy (2004-Mature Audiences TV Rating) is a comedy that brings another dysfunctional family together for the funeral of a wayward patriarch. In this ending, the family takes the body in a casket on a rowboat to a pond.

I am humbled by the knowing that I am an energy being first. Because if this is true, I have a lot to look forward to even long after I have left this physical time space reality. And so do you.

</pre>

Often families would receive that fateful call that a relative or friend has
passed away. From that moment on, life gets turned upside down. Nothing but
questions come to mind and all efforts focus on arrangements that need to be
made. Out of town relatives and friends feel they need to drop what they're
doing, and find a way to attend the funeral and to be there for the family.
Unfortunately, that's not always possible. Sometimes illness, financial
constraints, family or work responsibilities prevent the bereaved from attend a
funeral. Let me make this very personal - my dear old mum died nearly two years
ago, after suffering from Alzheimer's for a number of years, and we certainly
feel her loss. Our family's faith as Catholics, does not do away with that loss,

Let me make this very personal - my dear old mum died nearly two years ago, after suffering from Alzheimer's for a number of years, and we certainly feel her loss. Our family's faith as Catholics, does not do away with that loss, nor does it lessen it, nor does it remove the tears.
