FEE INCREASE as of 1 st March 2023:

Sadly, as a result of Medicare’s bulk billing freeze for over a decade now, and
only minimal increases since it "thawed", this practice has been forced to
increase our fees.

Most patients will now incur an out-of-pocket cost of $40.

Concession card holders will incur an out-of-pocket cost of $20.

DVA card holders, and children under 16 years of age will continue to be bulk
billed.

Some consultations will continue to be bulk billed, such as chronic care items
and mental health care items. Please speak with your doctor for more details.

APPOINTMENTS

We are dedicated to delivering high-quality health care to all our patients.

Appointments can be made by phoning the practice on 8264 2300 during office
hours, Monday to Saturday, or by using the Hot Doc online booking service below.
If there are no vacancies with your usual GP, you may be provided with the
option to see another doctor.

Our practice is not able to offer walk-in appointments, however there is a daily
cancellation list and appointments are available on the day for urgent matters.
If an urgent appointment is required, or you have a sick child, please advise
our reception team so that arrangements can be made. Please note you will be
asked to provide a clear, concise explanation of the matter.

We are a mixed billing practice. This equates to a small out-of-pocket cost for
both private patients and concession card holders - please see the Practice
Billing Policies section below. Please note that DVA card holders, and children
under 16 years of age will be bulk billed.

If you pay your account via a card that is connected to either a savings or
cheque account, our reception team will be happy to assist you to receive your
Medicare rebate back immediately. If you pay your account via cash or credit
card, Medicare requires 1-2 working days to process the rebate.

Some consultations, such as chronic care items and mental health care items will
be bulk billed. Please speak with your doctor for more details.

Should you have more than one issue to speak with your doctor about, or you have
forms to complete, a longer appointment may be required. Please advise the
reception team and they can arrange a longer consultation for you.

Telehealth appointments are available for shorter consultations, although there
are Medicare rules around when and what sort of consultations can be done over
the phone. These consultations may also incur an out-of-pocket cost.
