THE STORY




Some years ago, we created a template for a sustainable and regenerative resort
community that can be replicated anywhere in the world.

We wanted to change the way we live, to create harmony with nature and others in
our local area – we believe our template makes this possible.

By selling sustainable property and encouraging responsible tourism, we have
created a profitable business opportunity. Luxury tented villas, a field to fork
restaurant, wellness hub and education centre create robust, ongoing revenue
streams.

The local community lies at the heart of our project – we will respect their
culture and help to grow their economy, so we can be stronger together.

WHO WE ARE

Project Leader – Jaro BERCE

From very young age I have had the opportunity to live, study and work in
different cultural environments.

I have been involved in founding, co-founding, and leading SMEs and projects my
entire professional career.

For some time, I have had a growing awareness of today’s socio-ecological
problems, so I was inspired to create and to lead the development of TARO in
order to promote sustainability and regeneration in the world in a positive
practical way.

Sales and Marketing – Maja DIMNIK

As a Founder and CEO of World of Glamping, a specialized platform showcasing the
finest eco resorts in the world, I have worked closely with some of the most
inspirational people in some of the most incredible places in the world.

Together with my clients, we have set new benchmarks for premium experiential
travel. I have launched several of the best luxury glamping sites in Europe
(including Garden Village Bled – recognized as one of the top 10 best glamping
hotels in the world).

I also co-organise Eco Hotel Summits, bringing together thought leaders from
around the globe to discuss and collaborate on responsible tourism. My
comprehensive sales background means that I understand the importance of
business sustainability as well as the need for environmental regeneration.  

My combination of practical knowledge, market expertise and industry connections
have seen me contribute to leading industry journals as well as speaking at
international events.

Project consultant for

Development Management – Marios MICHAELIDES

As a Founder of Fjällbos, the eco-development consultancy in Scandinavia, , I
have practical experience of on-site development and project management in the
property development industry, spanning all facets of the development process
ranging from initial due diligence and feasibility through to design,
construction, marketing and leasing.

My experience has evolved into development with South Africa’s biggest
development companies.

Through this, I have successfully led the conceptualization and implementation
of projects to the value of billions of Rands.
