COVID-19 HEALTH & SAFETY PROTOCOLS

AUGUST 19, 2021 UPDATE

We value the health, safety and well-being of our members and the residents they
care for above all else. We have been closely monitoring the evolving situation
with COVID-19 and the Delta variant, CDC guidance and current Prince George’s
County (MD) mandates. Based on these factors, the following health and safety
protocol updates have been made to the 72nd AHCA/NCAL Convention & Expo at the
Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.

All those attending in person will be required to:

 1. Provide proof you are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 To be considered
fully vaccinated, you must be two weeks past your second dose in a 2-dose
series (Pfizer or Moderna) or two weeks past a single-dose vaccine
    (J&J/Janssen)
 2. Wear a mask while in a public, indoor setting during any Convention & Expo
event, including all common areas, meeting rooms and event spaces.

In the coming weeks we will share step-by-step instructions on how you can
provide vaccination proof via a secure, HIPAA compliant online tool. Please note
that only those who provide proof of full vaccination prior to participation in
any Convention & Expo activities will be able to participate in-person.

Please check this page frequently for updates, leading up to the event dates.

In the meantime, should you have any questions about this policy update, or if
you wish to discuss accommodations for special circumstances (i.e., medical or
religious), please direct your inquiries to meetings@ahca.org.

AHCA/NCAL requires all attendees follow any federal, state, or local health and
safety standards, as well as any health and safety standards that may be
implemented by Prince George's County (MD) and the Gaylord National Resort &
Convention Center after your registration up to and through the end of the
convention. This requires all registered attendees:

 * Wear a facial covering/mask when entering, exiting, or moving throughout
indoor, public common areas, including indoor meeting and event spaces.
 * Maintain a physical distance of 6 feet from others while participating in
   AHCA/NCAL events.
 * Wash hands frequently for at least 20 seconds throughout convention.
 * Follow any directional signage to walk with the flow of traffic in specified
   indoor, public common areas.

Anyone who has experienced COVID-19 symptoms, tested positive for COVID-19, or
been exposed to a COVID-19 positive individual within the last 14 days prior to
attending convention should stay home to avoid the risk of infecting others.

The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center COVID-19 Health and Safety
cleanliness standards include contactless service, deeper and more frequent
cleaning, and an emphasis on hygiene and cleanliness with appropriate PPE for
hotel staff and hand sanitizing stations for guests in high traffic areas and
public spaces. Additionally, physical distancing, food safety protocols, and
wearing a mask/facial covering in public common areas and meeting spaces are
required. For more details, please visit Gaylord Hotels Health & Safety
Cleanliness Standards.
