We are excited to share with you an upcoming event happening at Salisbury
Regional – The Future Pathways Expo! This event will be happening on Wednesday,
April 10th from 8:30-10:30am for students in grades 8 – 12. Students will have
the unique opportunity to connect with over 35 vendors from post-secondary
institutions to industries in New Brunswick. The event has been thoughtfully and
intentionally planned with our students’ interests in mind, ensuring that they
are receiving information that will support their future pathway planning.  
There are 5 sessions on the morning of the 10th.  Each grade will have a session
slot dedicated to touring the 35+ booths from post-secondary and industry. For
grades 9 – 12 students will register for sessions held by 18 different
post-secondary and industry reps. Information is being emailed home to
households of students in grades 8 – 12. Some colleges and universities have
offered to wave application fees and offer on-site acceptance for grade 12
students.  For this, students will require their transcripts. If students are
interested in this option they must have $5 to have transcripts processed the

The week of Jan 22 – Jan 26 is assessment week in Anglophone week. The schedule
of assessments is attached to this notice. ASSESSMENT EXPECTATIONS– For
scheduled assessments, students should arrive 15 MINUTES EARLY – come in, sit
down quietly and wait for directions.– NO CELLPHONES – Assessments will be
collected cellphones are out. This includes headphones.– 60 MINUTES – Students
MUST stay in the assessment room, and remain quiet, until at least the 60 minute
mark.– STUDY HALL – When finished an assessment or waiting for an assessment,
please go directly to the study hall (Rm. 2025 and Rm. 2021). *Credit Recovery –
At the discretion of the teacher. *Snow Day – In the event of a school
cancellation, all assessments will be pushed ahead one day.
