Welcome to the Global Campaign to #endchilddetention, together we are a mighty
civil movement! This is a place to inspire you to learn, educate and connect,
that cherishes the humanity and dignity of children.

Immigration detention is a child rights violation and yet, children are detained
every day around the world.

Children experience severe physical and emotional effects of detention, and
these can last a lifetime.

Now is the time to encourage our supporters and partners to put pressure on
national governments to take action. Will you join us?

“There is simply no need for child immigration detention. There are alternatives
which are not only child sensitive but also more effective, affordable, and,
crucially, more humane”

#EndChildDetention

TRACKING STATE PROGRESS

Each year, we update the NextGen Index, which ranks how countries are going as
they develop migration systems that are sensitive to the needs of children.

How is your government doing? What can you recommend that your government does?
Take a look at the NextGen Index and do your part to protect the liberty of the
next generation, today.
