Local Grief Resources

The David C. Brown Funeral Home was begun by David in Belleville in 1974, after
first working at another funeral home. He then opened his own funeral home on
April 5, 1982, after extensive renovation of the location. After the fire of
2012, he completely remodeled and included a lounge with a full kitchen. The
year 2022 marked 40 years of service to Belleville, Sumpter Township, Van Buren
Township, and the surrounding communities including, Ypsilanti, Willis, New
Boston, Flat Rock, Romulus, and Wayne, MI.

Did you know? We have two annual remembrance ceremonies, the Tree of
Remembrance, always the Monday evening before Thanksgiving, at the Brown Family
Center, and the Angel of Hope, every year on December 6, at Hillside Cemetery.
