Technipaq Introduces New Coated Tyvek® Capabilities, Expands and Enhances
Existing Coating Offerings

Technipaq Inc., a leading manufacturer of flexible sterilizable packaging
solutions, today announced its investment in one of the industry’s most
sophisticated air-knife coating machines. As an authorized converter of DuPont™
Tyvek®, the installation of this new production line equips Technipaq with the
unique ability to apply proprietary coatings to Tyvek® for healthcare product
offerings in-house. This places Technipaq amongst a small group of medical
packaging manufacturers who can claim such capabilities.

Designed in collaboration with one of the world’s top manufacturers of coating
equipment, this new line also serves to significantly expand and enhance
Technipaq’s breadth of Rollstock, Lidstock and Header Bag product offerings, as
well as bolster levels of customization.

Techni-Vent Pouches – for ETO or Radiation Pouch Sterilization

Techni-Vent Header Bags are made of DuPont™ Tyvek® for strength and bacterial
barrier, ensuring clean visual transfer of coating which confirms pouch
integrity and peelability with no
fiber tear or particulate. They are made of puncture and abrasion resistant film
and laminates under strict ISO 13485 production standards. Our header bags can
be manufactured to accommodate irregular and/or high-profile items.

Technipaq Offers a Wide Variety of DuPont™ Tyvek®, Foil, Paper and Film Lidstock
for Medical Device, Diagnostic, and Pharmaceutical Applications.

Technipaq lidstock can be custom die cut or supplied as rollstock. Available
materials are compatible with ETO, radiation or autoclave sterilization methods.
Lidstock can be printed in up to 8 colors. All our lidstock materials
are produced under strict ISO 13485 standards.

laminations provide puncture protection and abrasion resistance. Chevron, corner
peel and custom styles are available. All pouches are produced under strict ISO
13485 Standards.

non-peelable, and zipper styles for sterile medical, diagnostic and
pharmaceutical applications, providing excellent moisture and gas barrier along
with puncture resistance. All pouches are produced under strict
ISO 13485 Standards.
