I was very surprised to see that the tree is plastic. For the amount of money I
thought it would have been something else. The flip part is great and when the
lights are on it looks great. If I would have known it was plastic I don't think
I would have spent the money. I don't think that they are worth that much.

I WAS SO EXCITED TO TRY A FLIP TREE.

We bought the balsam fir flip tree for our living room tree. It's 9 ft and while
it started out great, with easily assembly and nicely packaged, it ended with
disappointment. I started seeing holes throughout. I fluffed per each piece
before adding another and I fluffed again after I had it all put together. I
decided to decorate, thinking that was my problem. I added tons of stems and pop
in greenery . It is absolutely full of ribbon, ornaments, and bobbles.
Unfortunately, I still have holes and flimsy branches. The branches seem to be
loose and that's not normal. My husband asked if it was broke because of the
loosness. The branches don't spread out far enough on each side to blend into
each other. The lights while beautiful actually seem to over power the other
decorations. Usually my philosophy is you can never have too many lights but my
ribbons and ornaments aren't showing up like they should. It drowns them out. I
wanted to love the flip tree but dang it I couldn't. I decided to put up my
normal, balsam hill, 10 ft tree in another area and it's like night and day. The
10 ft has light issues but I'll take that over a flimsy tree.

I saw the summary instructions on the cone and followed them. I would have done
better to have checked for the detailed directions. It would have been easier to
have fluffed the top section and attached the star to it before I put it up. I
knew that there is an app for the twinkly lights, but I read that there is a
controller for them that comes with the tree. I didn't realize that the
selection on the controller was so small. It's a little harder to hang some of
my ornaments because the branches are thicker with the needles. Other ornaments
are easier to hang or drape because the branches reach out and grab them. The
tree looks much more realistic than my previous one. This will likely be the
last tree I buy, considering that I had my previous one for thirty years. I hope
that this one is as durable and stays good-looking, because it really does look
realistic. I'm a little worried about how I'm going to store it, as there is no
room on the first floor of the house where it is now, but I knew it was heavy
when I ordered it and I'll have to figure that out after Christmas.

Non-clearance trees are covered by a 3-year limited warranty. Clearance trees
have a 60-day limited warranty. The warranty for all trees covers:

 * Quality of tree frame, foliage, hinges, and stand
 * Repair or replacement of factory-installed lights (excluding burned-out
   bulbs)

Any repair or replacement of defects in those parts are covered by the warranty
within the specified time frame.

Wreaths, Greenery & Décor

Products other than trees are covered by our 30-day premium guarantee. Please
inspect your product upon delivery and notify us within 30 days if there is any
damage or defects. Our team is ready to provide a quick resolution.

Greenery (Fresh, Dried, and Preserved) and Food

Because of their perishable nature, food items and fresh/dried/preserved

Warranty

Artificial Christmas Trees

Non-clearance trees are covered by a 3-year limited warranty. Clearance trees
have a 60-day limited warranty. The warranty for all trees covers:

 * Quality of tree frame, foliage, hinges, and stand
 * Repair or replacement of factory-installed lights (excluding burned-out
   bulbs)

Any repair or replacement of defects in those parts are covered by the warranty
within the specified time frame.

Wreaths, Greenery & Décor

Products other than trees are covered by our 30-day premium guarantee. Please
inspect your product upon delivery and notify us within 30 days if there is any
damage or defects. Our team is ready to provide a quick resolution.

Greenery (Fresh, Dried, and Preserved) and Food

Because of their perishable nature, food items and fresh/dried/preserved
greenery are not guaranteed. Check your order within 3 days of receiving it and
notify us of any damage.

Assembling Your Balsam Hill Flip Tree™

Balsam Hill™ is proud to unveil the latest in Christmas tree design: our
state-of-the-art Flip Tree™ technology. This unique patented design is protected
by two issued US Patents (#8,062,718 and #8,993,077) and is exclusive to Balsam
Hill. With this innovation, we have eliminated the need to lift heavy sections
of the artificial Christmas tree during assembly and storage. Homeowners can
simply roll in the tree out of the box on its wheeled base, lock it securely
into place, flip the bottom section up, and install the lightweight tree top.
Flip Trees up to 7.5’ generally come in just two sections, so only the tree top
needs to be lifted. Larger Flip Trees may have two top sections. In just a few
easy steps, you can assemble a grand holiday display.

The first time you assemble and shape your tree will require the most shaping to

1. With each branch, separate out the individual tips and angle them out and
away from the center of the tree.

2. Angle the tips furthest back on the branch and sideways out from the branch
to resemble a peacock's fanned tail when shaped.

3. Shape the branches vertically upward as much as possible to give the tree its
full appearance. Enjoy your Balsam Hill® tree!

Remove the top section of the tree before flipping the tree base. After placing
each section of the tree in the provided storage bags, roll your Flip Tree into
storage with the utmost ease.

twisted or tangled to avoid damage while in storage.

then flip the tree base 180 degrees until it is completely upside down.
