SOLBERG® 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF is the first fluorine-free firefighting foam
concentrate to be added to the Department of Defense Qualified Products List.
Specifically designed for fast knockdown and extinguishment of gasoline and Jet
A fuel spill fires as identified in MIL-PRF-32725 (I1), SOLBERG 3% MIL-SPEC SFFF
easily exceeds expansion ratio, burn back, and 25% drain-time performance
requirements.

RETARDANTS

Perimeter Solutions’ PHOS-CHEK and FIRE-TROL fire retardants help slow, stop and
prevent the start of wildfires by making wildland fuels non-flammable. Aerial
retardants can be applied by air – via fixed or rotor wing aircraft. They are
also applied on the ground using standard engines or one of Perimeter Solutions’
dedicated ground-applied retardant units. All products have a high level of fire
retardant effectiveness, with differences in visibility, viscosity, adherence to
vegetation and persistence through weathering.

Perimeter Solutions, makers of PHOS-CHEK® long-term fire retardant and other
high-quality firefighting products, announced today that its ground-based
long-term fire retardant PHOS-CHEK FORTIFY® has been added to the USDA Forest
Service (USFS) Qualified Products List (QPL), making it the first and only
highly-durable fire retardant that has been approved by USDA Forest Service for
preventative application on U.S. federal lands.
