Hello and good day.


























Earlier this month (3/2), Partners Interpreting (PI) officially acquired Visual
Communication Interpreting (VCI). We are pleased to announce that this
acquisition provides us with the scale, geographic reach, and capabilities to
offer you even greater language access services. As we begin transition of your
account to Partners, we will need to update your account.

This notice is to inform you effective April 17, 2022 PI is updating service
terms with all VCI clients. Any services provided on or after that date, will be
subject to the revised terms - as outlined in the attached agreement. Please
review and sign the agreement so your account can be updated accordingly.



Some of the high-level updates include the following:
 * Service delivery modalities outlined and redefined below:
 * OSI (On Site Interpreting)
 * VIS (Virtual Interpreting Service): All pre-scheduled interpreting utilizing
   video, ‘remote’ or ‘virtual’, regardless of the platform used
 * VRI (Video Remote Interpreting); Unlike VIS, these are ‘on demand’’ (not rush
   ‘pre-scheduled’) requests. On-demand services are provided through our
   platforms and give clients access to sign and spoken languages in minutes at
   the push of a button. This is best for short encounters.
 * RCS (Remote Caption Services) CART, C-Print, Typewell
 * TS (Translation Services) ASL/English or foreign languages
 * OPI (Over the phone interpreting)
 * Simplified rate structure, so costs can be predetermined.
 * No travel time will be charged. Exceptions: the assigned interpreter(s)
   travel 50+ miles (one way), will then be billed 1 hour of travel time at the
   rate of interpreting.
 * Pre-scheduled video assignments reduced minimum to 1 hour
 * Colleges/Universities: For current spring college ongoing semester requests,
   the current VCI rates/terms will be honored until semester ends.
 * Updated extended business hours, holidays, cancellation policies, and terms

New Scheduling platform
Currently VCI utilizes an older outdated platform. We’re excited to introduce to
you the robust scheduling platform we use that will give you more features. This
will allow enhanced access for placing & monitoring requests, invoices, reports
and more. We will transition your account to the new platform in the coming
months.

and return no later than April 1 to update your account profile within our
scheduling/billing system.
