TOLEDO'S THANKSGIVING DAY TRADITION

The annual Dave’s Turkey Chase 5K, presented by First Solar is the ideal
Thanksgiving day family fun run/walk. With media sponsor WTOL 11 in Downtown
Toledo, the event also includes a one mile walk, a kids run and a virtual option
— all to benefit Cherry Street Mission Ministries.

The 5K event starts on Summit St. at WTOL 11, heads past 5/3 Field, onto Huron
St. passing by the Huntington Center and continues across Cherry St, then back
onto Summit St. to the finish in front of WTOL studios.

5K Start: 9:00am
Course Open: 1.5 hours
Maximum Field: 4,500 Runners
Minimum Age: 6 on Race Day (5K)

Free Kids 1/4 Mile & 1/2 Mile Run
Kids 1/4 mile Turkey Chase run starts at 8:30am, immediately followed by the 1/2
mile option. There is no charge for this kids event, but all participants must
be registered and wearing an official BIB to participate.

CLUB DISCOUNT
Members of the Ann Arbor Track Club receive an automatic discount off
registration for this event during checkout. If you do not see the discount
applied, please contact your individual club to make sure your membership
up-to-date/active.

Packet Pickup
All Packet Pickup days, times and locations will be emailed to all registrants
prior to the race and published on the registration page for each of our events.

EARLY PACKET PICKUP
Dual location packet pickup will be held Tuesday and Wednesday from 12:00 p.m.
to 6:30 p.m. at Dave's Running Shop in Sylvania and Perrysburg.

Parking
The most convenient parking for getting to the Turkey Chase start/finish line is
at the Vistula Parking Garage. The garage will require a $5 charge upon
entering. The gates will be opened after the start of the race so that you can
leave without any delay once you finish the race.

You may also park at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 740 N Superior
St., or any other downtown lot, meter and legal parking spot. All parking is at
your own risk.

 * Other parking available throughout downtown (observe posted signs).

REGISTRATION & REFUND POLICY

REGISTRATION POLICY — We know that unexpected things happen that may change your
ability to attend a race, so we make it easy for registered participants to
manage their entry with multiple options. Your chosen option must be initiated
and approved 14 days prior to race day of the event for which you’re registered.



 1. Transfer your existing entry to any qualifying Run Toledo owned, or managed
    event in the same calendar year. Contact us directly to support this
    process.
 2. Defer your new entry to the same event in the following calendar year.
    Contact us directly to support this process.
 3. Recoup your entry fee by transferring your race bib to another person who
    hasn’t signed up yet. The process is easily managed through your personal
    runsignup.com/profile. Learn how: Video Tutorial

Refund Policy — Should an in-person event be cancelled and the transfer or defer
options are not suitable for any reason, registrants may request a refund of 75%
of their entry fee.
