ABOUT ME

I’m Kevin Hallatt, a museum professional and historian with a lifelong passion
for cultural heritage rooted in both Canada and the United States. Originally
from Southern Ontario, I later became a naturalized American citizen while
living in North Carolina, where I earned both my B.A. and M.A. in History from
the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.

 

History has shaped who I am today, and I’m dedicated to sharing its power with
communities across Canada. My mission is to bring history to life in ways that
connect us to the people of our past, deepen our understanding of our
neighbours, and inspire a united future. I believe wholeheartedly in the power
of museums and shared history to foster connections and inspire a deeper
appreciation for our collective journey.

 

In less abstract terms — I intend to work tirelessly in Museums and spread
appreciation of history in any way that I can!
