Dragon Ball FighterZ first released nearly six years ago in the midst of the
wider change over to rollback netcode across fighting games, but it was stuck
with the old-school delay based system that many players have found issues with.

Now, over a year since it was first announced, rollback netcode is finally
playable in DBFZ thanks to the currently ongoing open beta test on PC, but is it
worth the wait and hype?

NEW ANTI-RAGE QUIT FEATURE ADDED TO STREET FIGHTER 6

If there's one thing the fighting game community can agree on, it's that people
who dip out of matches early when losing (rage quitters) are just the worst. You
spend your time, you risk your rank, you earn a win, and your opponent decides
to take their ball and go home before the victory gets logged.

Such things can very much still happen in Street Fighter 6, but the latest
update makes things a little worse for rage quitters thanks to a new screen that
pops up when someone pulls such shenanigans.

ANTONY STARR ONCE AGAIN REAFFIRMS THAT HE WON'T BE VOICING HOMELANDER IN MORTAL
KOMBAT 1 TO THE DISMAY OF FANS

Homelander is scheduled to be released as a DLC character in Mortal Kombat 1 via
the Kombat Pass around spring 2024, which will be around the time Ermac gets
released as well. Of course, this will be after Quan Chi and Peacemaker are
released in winter 2023/2024, and before Takeda Takahashi is released in summer
2024.

Back in November, Antony Starr finally confirmed that he wouldn't be voicing
Homelander in Mortal Kombat 1 despite portraying the character in The Boys
television series. Unfortunately for fans, this fact hasn't changed as Starr has
seemingly reaffirmed that it's too late for this to happen.

TOKIDO AND DAIGO FACE OFF IN THE KEN MASTERS MIRROR MATCH IN STREET FIGHTER 6

Of the traditional Shoto characters in Street Fighter 6, Ryu and Ken, it's
generally perceived that Ken is the better of the two. As such, both
Rohto|Tokido and BST|Daigo have both gravitated towards Ken Masters as their
mains for this season of Street Fighter 6.

Four interesting videos were recently posted on The FGC Place that feature
Tokido and Daigo going at it in the Ken mirror match. These two have had quite
the friendly rivalry during Street Fighter 5, but which of these two players has
the edge as of this moment?

CAPCOM PRO TOUR 2023 JAPAN POSTPONED DUE TO SYNC ISSUE IN THE GAME, LIKELY DUE
TO LATEST PATCH FOR STREET FIGHTER 6

Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Japan, an online event for Street Fighter 6, was scheduled
to take place this week. The winner of this event would be qualified for Capcom
Cup X that is to take place in late February 2024 via one of the 18 premier
online slots. It should be noted that there are only five slots remaining in
terms of the premier online slots (though there are still the three World
Warrior Circuit slots and Last Chance Qualifier slot as well).

However, it seems that the Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Japan event has been postponed
until further notice. Capcom Fighters has reported that this is due to a sync
issue with Street Fighter 6.

LUCILIUS REVEALED AS UPCOMING DLC CHARACTER FOR GRANBLUE FANTASY VERSUS: RISING
IN NEW STORY TRAILER

A new story trailer for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising was recently dropped on
YouTube by Cygames EN. During this trailer, Lucilius is revealed to be a boss
character within the game.

According to the official GBVS Twitter account, Lucilius will also be released
as a DLC character for Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising. He'll become available
sometime in January 2024.

STREET FIGHTER 6'S NEW OUTFIT 3 COSTUMES ARE JUST AS EXPENSIVE AS FANS FEARED,
BUYING OPTIONS ARE MORE LIMITED THAN WE HOPED

The big day has finally come; Street Fighter 6 has just officially received its
first wave of DLC costumes and they are now available for purchase. Capcom took
several months to hype the new Outfit 3 for all 18 launch characters up, and
just last week finally let the cat out of the bag with an official trailer
showing the new costumes in action and sharing their release date.

The company was mum when it came to pricing, however, and it quickly became
clear that we'd have to wait until they launched to find out how much these
costumes would cost. Now that they're here, we have learned that Street Fighter
6's Outfit 3 alternate costumes are just as expensive as fans feared, and
pouring some salt in the wound, the buying options for them are even more
limited than we'd hoped.

Back during the era of Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, getting J.K. Simmons to
play J. Jonah Jameson was basically the perfect casting choice, and he also
bears a pretty striking resemblance to one of the actor's more recent
characters.

That is of course in reference to Invincible's Omni-Man, and now we can get the
best of all multiverses in Mortal Kombat 1 thanks to the perfect new mod.

Although there's no new character, Street Fighter 6 did receive a pretty
significant update today that added in Outfit 3 as DLC for the launch roster,
but that's not all.

Players also quickly discovered that the latest patch appears to have bugged
Zangief in a way that technically gives him a notable yet inadvertent buff.

STREET FIGHTER 6 JUST RECEIVED A VERY IMPORTANT CHANGE TO WAKE UP ATTACKS AND

Since its launch back in June, Street Fighter 6 has been suffering from some
very real input issues. Numerous players have reported dropped inputs when Drive
Rush comes into play, getting random moves that were unintentional, and trouble
with performing reversals on wake up (including supers).

The game's latest update, which makes way for Outfit 3 and some other additional
content, also brought with it some game mechanic improvements as well as bug
fixes for 13 different characters. Among the changes, though, one very important
alteration was made to wake up attacks that seems like it might be the fix
players have wanted and needed for one of the game's more glaring issues.

The latest update for Street Fighter 6 is officially live now. Capcom has added
new costumes for the 18 launch roster characters, as well as some new additional
content for you to get your hands on.

Along with this patch, Capcom has also introduced several changes and bug fixes
to game mechanics and characters. While there are mainly bug fixes here, there
are some interesting things that deserve being looked over here in these full
patch notes.

The Evo organizers released the game lineup along with other details for the
coming Evo Japan 2024, which will take place in Tokyo from April 27-29, Thursday
evening.

Said lineup includes the expected Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8 along with five
other fighting game titles, one of which is Street Fighter 3: Third Strike, one
of the most revered competitive fighting games of all time.

Things are changing once again in Street Fighter 6's Battle Hub as Capcom
released a new trailer showing off how they're decking the halls for the Happy
Holidays Fighting Pass.

A player avatar dressed as Santa Clause traverses both World Tour and Battle Hub
modes while donning a whole slew of new garments players will be able to
purchase. The update will add some holiday cheer to the Hub, and those who get
beyond the first 20 levels of the Pass will be able to earn highly-coveted
Fighter Coins, SF6's premium in-game currency.

Updated with patch details: The update on Steam for the Outfit 3 patch for
Street Fighter 6 is live now. It is 4.52 gigabytes in file size and contains
numerous updates to the game.

The wait is almost over; very soon, fans will finally be able to lay down their
cold, hard cash to purchase Street Fighter 6's first set of DLC costumes for the
game's launch roster.

Outfit 3 is en route and set to go live tomorrow, and in preparation of that,
Capcom will be taking Street Fighter 6's servers down for maintenance. Here's
when you can expect things to go down.
