The scandal occurred during the live broadcast of the interview when Lawrence
Wong accidentally revealed his secret. Many viewers noticed the "random" words
of Lawrence Wong and began to send messages to the live broadcast. However, the
program was interrupted by a call from the Bank of Singapore demanding that the
live broadcast be stopped immediately.
