64 animals seized in Beltrami County cruelty case

AHS is caring for 35 dogs and 29 cats from a rural property in Beltrami County
following an investigation into the neglect and mistreatment of more than 250
animals.

These dogs and cats are in dire condition, and it may take several weeks of
medical care and rehabilitation before many of them are healthy enough for
adoption. Learn more about this case and how you can help us provide these
animals with lifesaving care.

Calm your anxious pet during holiday gatherings

but the loud noises, strangers, and new environments can be stressful for your
four-legged friends. And if your festivities are happening away from your home,
separation can also be tough for your pets.

Learn to recognize and manage symptoms of anxiety in your pet so you can be
their best advocate this holiday season.
