ERIN CLARK ON SPEECH, LANGUAGE, AND HEARING—MEET OUR FACULTY

April 12, 2023 • IUP Now "Special Series"

Erin Clark started her career in hospitals, helping patients with their speech
and language skills. She took her experience caring for patients and has used it
as the clinic director and internship coordinator for IUP’s Speech-Language
Pathology program.


DISCOVERING NEW SPECIES IN CENTRAL AMERICA

April 10, 2023 • "Special Series" IUP Now Faculty Achievements

Students join faculty in the field by traveling to Honduras to find new species
of animals while honoring local populations and their customs. It’s a project
that has led to the discovery of more than 20 new species.

The Haven Project at Indiana University of Pennsylvania will host the annual
Take Back the Night event on April 12 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. on the IUP main
campus. Take Back the Night is designed to raise awareness and support survivors
of sexual violence, domestic and dating violence, and stalking.

CRIMSON HAWK ATHLETICS

IUP sponsors 21 NCAA Division II varsity teams in in basketball, cross country,
diving, field hockey, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming,
tennis, track and field, and volleyball.

Our teams have won 104 PSAC championships and two national team championships; a
number of student-athletes have won national championships. Scholarships are
available for all varsity sports.
