trade-in value of $0 as determined by the Service Provider’s device valuation
software; and (iv) is owned by the customer.
The Promotional Trade-In Credit offered is as follows:
i. $400 if you complete the purchase of an eligible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4
device and trade-in an eligible Galaxy Note Series, Galaxy S Series, or Galaxy Z
Series device as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below; or
ii. $300 if you complete the purchase of an eligible Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4
device and trade-in an eligible Galaxy Note Series, Galaxy S Series, or Galaxy Z
Series device as defined in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below; or
iii. $150 if you complete the purchase of an eligible Samsung Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z
Flip4 device and trade-in an Eligible Trade-In Product (excluding Galaxy Note
Series, Galaxy S Series, or Galaxy Z Series device) as defined as “Other
Smartphone” in List of Eligible Trade-In Devices below;

This offer is limited to the trade-in of one (1) Eligible Trade-in Product per
eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device purchased. This offer has no cash
value. Any questions relating to the Eligible Trade-In Product must be addressed
where the trade-in takes place. For any questions with respect to the trade-in
process conducted online at www.galaxyupgrade.ca, please call 1-800-726-7864.
Determination of the final trade-in value of your Eligible Trade-In Product
(“Trade-In Value”), if any, is determined by Assurant Services Canada Inc. or
the applicable participating retailer or carrier. Trade-in Value is final and
non-negotiable. Availability and selection may vary. While quantities last. No
rain checks. Offer is open to Canadian residents only. Offer is valid for a
limited time and is subject to change or cancellation without notice. This offer
cannot be combined with any other offer unless otherwise specifically agreed to
by Samsung in writing or by the participating Canadian authorized carrier or
retailer.
Note:
1. Once the Eligible Trade-in Product has been traded in, it cannot be returned
to the customer, even if the purchased Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device has been
returned by the customer for any reason including but not limited to buyer’s
remorse. Samsung is not responsible for the Eligible Trade-in Product once it
would have been provided by the customer in connection with this offer.
2. Please send us your trade-in device only. Any packaging, whether original or
new, and any accessories that you choose to send with your device will be
disposed of and cannot be returned to you.
I) Redemption process for purchases made online on https://www.samsung.com/ca/:
For the purchase of an eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device made online at
https://www.samsung.com/ca/, the verification of the Eligible Trade-in Product
will be performed by Assurant Services Canada Inc.
Please Note: In the event that the trade-in value of the Eligible Trade-In
Product and trade-in promotional credit (if applicable) exceed the purchase
price of your new Samsung device, you will not be eligible to participate in
this Trade-In Program and the system will display an error message.
The process is as follows:
1. Purchase an eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device online at
https://www.samsung.com/ca/ during the Offer Period.
2. Complete the trade-in tool in your online cart by registering and providing
all requested information of your Eligible Trade-In Product, including the
Serial Number / IMEI of your Eligible Trade-In Product. The trade-in tool will
provide an estimated value for the Eligible Trade-in Product. The actual value
of the trade-in device is determined by Assurant Services Canada Inc. once the
Eligible Trade-in Product is received.
3. The trade-in promotional credit (as set out above), as applicable, and the
estimated Trade-in Value of Eligible Trade-In Product, will then be applied
towards the purchase price (before taxes) of your new Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4
device, at the time of checkout.
4. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered email address when your new
Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device is shipped.
5. Mail your Eligible Trade-in Product to the address listed on the waybill
within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.
6. The Eligible Trade-in Product will be received and assessed by Assurant
Services Canada Inc. to determine the final Trade-In Value.
Please note: For trade-in transactions online at Samsung.com/ca if you do not
send in your Eligible Trade-In Product within the prescribed time, or if the
device condition differs materially from that which you have represented to be
accurate using the Trade-In Tool, your trade-in transaction may be subject to a
Non-Return Charge, Device Condition Charge, or Rejection of Device Condition
Charge, in whole or in part, in accordance with the Trade-In Program Terms and

terms and conditions.
II) Redemption process for purchases made at Samsung Experience Stores in
Canada:
The purchase of eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device and the verification of
the Eligible Trade-in Product will occur simultaneously at the point of purchase
at a Samsung Experience Store in Canada. The process is as follows:
1. During the Offer Period, meet with a Samsung Experience Store representative
to complete a physical assessment of your Eligible Trade-in Product
2. Complete the outright purchase of eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device by
October 3rd, 2022
3. The trade-in promotional credit (as set out above), together with the
Trade-in Value of the Eligible Trade-in Product, will be applied towards the
purchase price (before taxes) of your new Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device
III) Redemption process for purchases made either in-store or online at
participating authorized Canadian retailers or carriers.
For purchases of an eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device made at a
participating authorized Canadian retailer or carrier that does not have a
trade-in program onsite, the process is as follows:
1. Complete the purchase of Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device during Offer Period,
in accordance with the purchase procedures of the participating authorized
Canadian retailers or carriers (defined below in section ‘Participating
Partners’)
2. Go to www.galaxyupgrade.ca (operated by Assurant Services Canada Inc.) to
begin processing the trade-in of your Eligible Trade-in Product. You must
register the Eligible Trade-in Product and provide all requested information
including proof of purchase of your new Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device. The
trade-in tool will provide an estimated Trade-In Value for the Eligible Trade-in
Product. The actual value of the Eligible Trade-in Product is determined by
Assurant Services Canada Inc. once the Eligible Trade-in Product is received.
You will need to provide the below information for the shipping label and to
complete trade-in of your Eligible Trade-in Product:
a. Serial Number / IMEI of Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device purchased
b. Date of purchase
c. Email
d. Name
e. Full Address
f. Contact number
g. Where you purchased the Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device
h. Proof of purchase of the Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device showing the purchase
location, date, price paid and Serial Number / IMEI
3. A prepaid waybill will be sent to your registered email address within 1
business day of registering the Eligible Trade-in Product and providing all
requested information on www.galaxyupgrade.ca (operated by Assurant Services
Canada Inc.).
4. Mail your Eligible Trade-in Product to the address listed on the waybill
within 21 calendar days of receiving the waybill.
5. Once the Eligible Trade-in Product is received, you will be mailed a combined
cheque for the trade-in value of your Eligible Trade-in Product and trade-in
promotional credit value (as set out above), as applicable, via Canada Post
regular mail service within thirty (30) days.
For purchases of an eligible Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device made at a
participating authorized Canadian retailer or carrier that has a trade-in
program onsite, the process is as follows:
1. Complete the purchase of Galaxy Z Fold4 | Z Flip4 device during Offer Period,
in accordance with the purchase procedures of the participating authorized
Canadian retailers or carriers (defined below in section ‘Participating
Partners’).
2. The trade-in promotional credit, together with the Trade-in Value of the
Eligible Trade-in Product, will be disbursed in accordance with the trade-in
procedures of the participating authorized Canadian retailers or carriers.
