CATERED SKI CHALET IN PEISEY-VALLANDRY


IDEALLY SITUATED IN PEISEY-VALLANDRY

Our chalet is located in the heart of the massive Paradiski skiing area, the
second largest in the world. Although the chalet is only a five minute walk to
the ski lift, we know what walking in ski boots is like, especially with tired
legs, so we provide flexible lifts.

We are located in Peisey on the Les Arcs side of the valley, underneath the
Vanoise Express, right in the centre of Paradiski. This means first thing each
day you can decide whether to explore Les Arcs or La Plagne.

Peisey is a year round farming village so you get all the charm of an old French
village in the middle of one of the world’s best ski resorts.

CHALET CUISINE

Good food makes for a great holiday and staying with us you won't be
disappointed. We cater for most dietary requirements, including big appetites!
Start each morning with a sumptuous breakfast and return from the slopes for
afternoon tea with freshly made cakes.

The open plan living and dining area has a big dining table where for 6 evenings
we serve a 3 course dinner with wine. Our meals are prepared by a professional
chef with a carefully chosen menu that includes local specialities.

All our meals are freshly prepared, our eggs are free range and we source
produce locally where possible. Many guests return to stay with us, in large
part for the eating experience, so check out our reviews.


STYLISH CHALET

Our chalet has been styled by owner/director Lucy who is a furniture designer
with a strong interest and eye for interiors.

Although the chalet is spacious, it still manages to be cosy so is ideal for
large or small groups of family or friends. The chalet is roomy and set over 3
floors with the living areas on the middle and upper floors.

The substantial top floor has beautiful exposed beam ceilings and includes a
family suite where kids have an adjoined room. Here there is plenty of space
including a separate kids entertainment snug. Our beautiful rooms are very
comfortable with crisp white linen and Lucy's personal touches.


GREAT FACILITIES

Outside there is a large deck with a hot tub which has stunning views across to
the La Plagne side of the valley, perfect for winding down after a hard day on
the slopes.

Downstairs there’s a sauna and a huge boot room with boot warmers, so we are
fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible. And for those of
you with the energy, there’s a gym and weights rooms.

Our driveway is large enough for 3 cars and there is a place to charge electric
vehicles in the village.

ABOUT WHITE STRIPE MOUNTAIN LODGE


MEET RUSS, LUCY AND LILLY

Originally from Buxton in the Peak District, Lucy must always have had a calling
for the hills. Having dreamed of escaping corporate life, when Russ was made
redundant, Lucy went freelance with her furniture design and we headed for the
Alps. As we'd already been on a number of skiing holidays in the Paradiski ski
resort, we knew we loved the area and settled here.

Russ manages the day to day running of the chalet and Lucy ensures things run
smoothly and makes everything look fabulous.

Our daughter Lilly attends the local school and is already speaking better
French than us!

We love it here and want to share our passion for skiing and the area with you.
