account.

BE PREPARED AND PROACTIVE WITH OUR ONLINE SECURITY AND SAFETY TIPS

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We’re serious about your privacy and security. But today’s cybercriminals can be
convincing. Here are two important things to remember:

 * We never request payment or personal information in exchange for releasing a
   package.
 * If you get a suspicious email, do not reply or cooperate with the sender.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

FedEx does not request, via unsolicited mail, email, or text, any personal
information pertaining to your account credentials or identity.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If you get a suspicious email, do not reply or cooperate with the sender.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

KNOW THE COMMON WARNING SIGNS OF A SCAM TO PREVENT FRAUD

 * Urgent request for money in return for the delivery of your packages.
 * Requests for your personal and financial information.
 * Misspelled website or email addresses, like fedx.com or fed-ex.com.
 * Spelling and grammatical errors, or excessive capitalization and exclamation
   points.
 * Claims that you have won a large sum of money.
 * A message that appears when you click a link, warning you that the connection
isn't secure. This means the browser you use recognizes a security risk.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BE ON GUARD AGAINST FRAUD EVERY DAY

 * Watch for text messages or emails saying there’s a problem with your FedEx
   shipment.

 * Use secure payment methods to pay for your shipments. Don’t wire money or
send money orders or cash. Using secure payment methods also makes it easier
   to dispute a fraudulent charge.
 * Keep your FedEx account and credit card numbers safe, and don’t share them.
 * Avoid using public computers to send sensitive information or log in to your
   accounts.
 * Update your computer, browser, and software as needed.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IF YOU HAVE ALREADY INTERACTED WITH A MESSAGE AND LOST MONEY, CONTACT YOUR BANK
IMMEDIATELY.*

Also consider contacting the Internet Crime Complaint Center or your state
Attorney General’s office.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Disclaimer: FedEx is not responsible for damages, charges or costs incurred as a
result of fraudulent activity under the pretext of the FedEx name, service marks
or logos.

We’ve been earning the trust of our customers for over 50 years. Our team works
hard to shield your personal information.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A SECURE ONLINE EXPERIENCE

To log in to fedex.com, your browser must support 128-bit encryption. Any
sensitive data transferred between you and FedEx is then encrypted. Look for the
closed padlock symbol in your browser and the “https” in the URL.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UNIQUE LOGIN PROTECTION

You need to have a user ID and password to access FedEx online account services
and features. We securely store these credentials. Handle your ID and password
with care, and never share them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

TWO-STEP VERIFICATION ACCOUNT PROTECTION

In today's digital world, protecting your personal information is more important
than ever.  Two-Step Verification (2SV) adds an extra layer of security by
requiring a one-time code sent to your email or phone after entering your
password.

Here's how you can ensure your account remains secure:

Update Your Contact Information:

Make sure your email and phone number on file are accurate. Keeping this
information up-to-date helps ensure you receive important notifications and can
verify your identity when enabling 2SV.

Enable Two-Step Verification (2SV):

 1. Access Profile Settings: After logging into your FedEx account, click on
your profile icon in the global header and select "Profile settings."
 2. Navigate to Login and Security: Within your profile settings, go to the
    “Login and Security” section.
 3. Enable Two-Step Verification: Scroll down and follow the prompts to activate
    Two-Step Verification (2SV).

Profile Settings > Login and Security > Enable Two-Step Verification

Steps to Lock Your Profile:

 1. Go to Account Management: Log in, click your profile icon, and select
    "Account management."
 2. View/Edit Settings: Select "View/Edit" under your profile options.
 3. Access Nickname and Security Options: Go to "Nickname and Security Options"
to ensure your profile is locked and review your privacy settings regularly.

Account Management > View/Edit > Nickname and Security Options

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

AUTOMATIC TIMEOUTS

You’re automatically logged out after 60 minutes of inactivity on fedex.com.
After that, you’ll need to log in to your account again. This helps keep your
account safe, especially on shared computers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

VERISIGN VALIDATION

We use VeriSign Extended Validation (EV) certificates. Browsers that support EV
certificates show that a site has undergone additional validation. Browsers
without EV support will function on fedex.com, but you won’t see the validation
indicator.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

HIGH SECURITY STANDARDS

We adhere to industrywide information security standards from leading bodies
like Open Worldwide Application Security Project (OWASP). Our development teams
regularly take code training to stay on top of the cutting-edge security
principles.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

INTEGRATED FEATURES

We’re proactive about our DevSecOps, which stands for development, security, and
operations. We incorporate security features into development platforms and
pipelines. This helps prevent bugs and vulnerabilities from making their way to
you.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A COMMITMENT TO QUALITY MANAGEMENT

FedEx was the first transportation company to receive worldwide ISO 9001
certification. It demonstrates our ability to consistently meet customer and

The frequency of this email tends to increase close to the holiday season,

Your company or organization may be targeted in a spearfishing email attack. The
scammer may request unauthorized access to confidential data or money. For
example, a cybercriminal poses as your CEO to try and trick you into sending
cash.

Vishing

The telephone version of phishing is vishing. You receive a message asking you
to call a number to settle an account or fix an error. The perpetrator wants to
get your personal information. If they get it, they could use it to access your
account or open credit cards in your name.

REPORT A SCAM TO THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION

Please forward your phishing e-mails to abuse@fedex.com. If you feel you have
been a victim of one of these other scams, consider contacting the Federal Trade
Commission, the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, and/or your local law
enforcement.
