OUR OPENING DAY IS MAY 20, 2024!




We ask for and appreciate your patience while we change things over to our new
operating name, Ellis Nature Centre. We're in the process of creating a new
website, but in the meantime you can still find events and information here.

FRIEND OF ELLIS



We're very excited to be launching our new Friend of Ellis partnership! For a
one-time donation of $20, you'll be pledging your lifetime support to Ellis
Nature Centre, which will help us continue to do important work like wildlife
monitoring, land stewardship, educational programs, and environmental events.
Some of the benefits of being a Friend of Ellis include:
 * Access to our site during spring & fall.
 * Being the first to know about upcoming activities, research, and events.
 * 10% off Ellis Nature Centre books, nestbox kits, and facility bookings

LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

Ellis Nature Centre acknowledges that we work, play, and learn on Treaty 6
territory, traditional homeland of many First Nations, Metis, and Inuit groups
since time immemorial. Additionally, we give thanks for all the teachings these
groups have passed on about the importance of caring for and giving back to our
natural spaces and the creatures we share those spaces with. On our continuous
journey of reconciliation, we appreciate the teachings of Indigenous elders and
community leaders about the importance of the land and our connection with it.

Ellis Nature Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to conservation,
education & sustainable agriculture. We promote environmental education and
wildlife conservation, overseeing an extensive Mountain Bluebird, Tree Swallow,
and Purple Martin monitoring program.
