WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET INTO AN ACCIDENT?

In the unfortunate event of an accident, the first thing to do is ensure all
passengers are safe. Call 911 if necessary. Exchange insurance information with
all parties that were involved in the incident and file a claim immediately with
your insurance company. Take pictures of the incident if possible. Fill out a
Merchants Fleet Incident Report with as much information as you can and report
it to Merchants within 24 hours of the incident occurring. If the van is beyond
the ability to be fixed, Merchants cannot guarantee a replacement vehicle.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY VEHICLE BREAKS DOWN?

If you experience a vehicle breakdown, reach out to your manufacturer’s Roadside
Assistance line to have the vehicle towed to the nearest dealership. Merchants
will take over from there and identify if it is warranty related. We will do our
best to get the vehicle back in your hands as quickly as possible!

Merchants short-term vehicles are insured by the client. You should have an
insurance policy to cover $1,000,000 liability for each vehicle.

WHAT DO I DO IF MY VAN NEEDS MAINTENANCE?

Great News! All Merchants vans are now covered under a Full Maintenance program.
Merchants works with National Vendors with thousands of locations across the
United States. Please use the Driver Kit information provided with each van to
pick the best Vendor for you, if you do not have a driver kit there is one
available above in the Downloads section. Please call 888-855-5737 for all
Maintenance issues and have the VIN number of the van for reference. For more
information on vendors in your area please reach out to your assigned Account
Manager.


What do I do if I want to return my Merchants

WHAT DO I DO IF I WANT TO RETURN MY MERCHANTS VEHICLES?

Reach out to your dedicated Merchants Fleet Account Manager. They will provide
you with a Return Checklist as well as an Excel spreadsheet. On the spreadsheet,
please fill out all the applicable columns including Points of Contact & Address
(for our Logistics team to pick the vans up) and the VIN and Updated Mileage (so
our Admin team can close out your contracts). Merchants Fleet will schedule a
3rd party Damage Assessment to be completed onsite at your lot, and then
Merchants Fleet will schedule transportation to pick up the vehicles!


What do I do if I want to extend my

Easy! Just let us know, and we will put together some extension paperwork for
you. Just sign and keep your vehicles!

Once I have placed an order when can I expect my

ONCE I HAVE PLACED AN ORDER WHEN CAN I EXPECT MY VEHICLES?

Depending on when you place an order (immediate or placing an order for future
usage) you can expect to have your vehicles in 7 – 14 days. Transportation can
determine how long it takes to receive your vehicles, so being able to pick up
your own vehicles from one of our many wholesale sites is ideal.


How are tolls and/or toll violations

HOW ARE TOLLS AND/OR TOLL VIOLATIONS HANDLED?

Merchants does NOT provide a toll transponder in the vehicle. Your DSP is
responsible for acquiring and providing payment for tolls as needed. If you
happen to pass through a toll without payment, Merchants will pay the toll and
any applicable state fines/processing fees, which will then be billed separately
to the renting DSP. We highly recommend providing toll passes for your vehicles
to avoid unnecessary fees added to toll violations.

WHAT VAN WILL I MOST LIKELY RECEIVE?

Cargo vans of various lengths. The vans are as-is, used, rental vehicles.
Merchants guarantees a safe and reliable vehicle. If the vehicle received
presents a safety or mechanical hazard, please notify Merchants within 24 hours
of receipt and we will take action to remedy the situation immediately. On
occasion, Merchants may have access to and provide new vans. However, this is
not to be expected.


How do payments work, and how large of a deposit do I need to

HOW DO PAYMENTS WORK, AND HOW LARGE OF A DEPOSIT DO I NEED TO PROVIDE?

Merchants does not require any deposits.  Merchants will pull monthly rental
fees on the 15th of each month the vehicle is in service. If your first month
falls after the 15th of any given month, Merchants will not pull prorated first
month and second month in its entirety in the second month. From that point on,
all months rental rate will be taken in current month.
