ICP Maximalist was looking for a game developer to build a proof of concept on Dfinity's Internet Computer. Tommy contacted him via a Twitter DM and their magical journey began. They had so much fun working together and seeing a powerful community come to life around their iconic MoonWalker NFT collection, they decided to keep working together. As crazy as it sounds, all this happened without ever meeting in real life. 02. Leap of FaithAt that time, Tommy was working at a major AAA gaming studio. He took a leap of faith to leave his ambitious career to work full-time on Plethora. This is when they received a $100,000 grant from Dfinity Foundation as well as strong support. After 8 months of remote building, they finally met each other in real life for 2 weeks of vision building. They became very good friends and their relationship is as powerful as their dream to create a life-changing web3 gaming world. They would love for their backstory to inspire many people to take the first step and manifest what truly matters to them. 03. The MoonWalkersOur story has always been intertwined with the Moonwalkers. We never created them. Throughout the centuries, mystical tales of these champions have spread to all civilizations. Yet, we still know very little about them and their secrets. Some ancient books speak about their hidden world that cannot be seen by the naked eye. During times of darkness, they always show up unexpectedly to accomplish the greater good. Fascinating but misunderstood, worshipped and feared, only a chosen few truly know them. Meet the teamWe are a diverse and complementary team from all over the world. Fate brought us together and guided us to our mission of putting players first and having our community's long term best interests in mind.
