WELCOME TO THE NEW HOME OF THE INTEGRATIVE TREATMENT OF COMPLEX TRAUMA MODEL!

This model was formerly housed within the University of Southern California
Adolescent Trauma Training Center. 




EMPOWERING THERAPISTS

Our team prepares child-trauma therapists to utilize Integrative Treatment of
Complex Trauma (ITCT) to address the needs of children, youth, young adults and
their families affected by complex trauma.

We focus on preparing providers to assess and address the diverse effects of
complex trauma, including substance use and self-injury, among socially
marginalized clients seeking treatment across various settings.




EMPOWERING HEALING THROUGH TRAINING

The Center for Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma provides training and
clinical certification through web-based and in-person workshops, in the
evidence-based treatment model known as Integrative Treatment of Complex Trauma
(ITCT), as developed by Briere & Lanktree (2013), Lanktree & Briere (2012), and
Lanktree & Briere (2016).

Our efforts encompass training and consultation on the full ITCT model,
including adaptations for children, adolescents, and young adults.

ADVANCING EQUITY


AN ANTI-RACIST AND AFFIRMING FRAMEWORK TO ADDRESS COMPLEX TRAUMA IN CHILDREN AND
YOUTH.



We understand how poverty, social marginalization, systemic oppression, and
racism greatly influence how people experience complex trauma and its
symptomatology. Our Center is dedicated to seeking improved methods to address
identity-based trauma and equity considerations within the training, delivery,
and development of the ITCT network of providers.
