THE NEW SOUND OF LEXUS

Under the Lexus Electrified vision, Lexus engineers pursue the creation of
expressive in-cabin sounds designed to help heighten the exhilaration of
driving. The RZ 450e establishes a dialogue between car and driver by matching
sound frequencies to the vehicle’s speed and sound levels during dynamic actions
such as acceleration. The end result is a unique sound that is as invigorating
as the driving experience.


EAXLE

The newly developed high-output electronic axle (eAxle) fully integrates the
motor, transaxle and inverter within a compact unit to benefit cruise range
without introducing components that compromise exterior or interior design. The
front eAxle is packaged with a space-efficient layout, while the rear eAxle
features a low-profile layout contributing to increased interior and cargo
space.


PADDLE SHIFTERS WITH REGENERATIVE BRAKING FORCE SELECTOR

Paddles mounted on the steering wheel allow you to adjust the regenerative
braking functionality. The RZ 450e can be set to coast when releasing the
accelerator like a conventional vehicle, or can offer a more aggressive level of
off-throttle regenerative braking.


FIVE DRIVE MODES

Dial in your preferred levels of exhilaration and efficiency with a simple tap
of the screen. In addition to a fully customizable drive mode, four distinct
drive modes help control everything from power output, to steering response, and
even the air conditioning, helping optimize power so you can tailor your drive
to suit your needs.

AMPLE POWER

The Lexus RZ 450e utilizes an advanced 71.4-kWh battery pack. Mounted under the
floor to help contribute to a low center of gravity, this lithium-ion battery
offers an optimized combination of size, weight and power density.

With a variety of charging options available, it’s simple to maintain your RZ’s
charge. Level 1 charging* lets you charge your RZ with any standard, household
120-volt current. Higher-speed 240-volt Level 2 chargers* can be found at
thousands of public charging stations across the country and can also be
installed in your own home. To make the routine process of upgrading to a Level
2 as convenient as possible, learn how ChargePoint Home Flex can help you charge
your EV in the comfort of your garage and Qmerit can connect you with a
certified EV charger installer near you. And for ultimate speed, some public
stations offer Level 3 DC charging* capability, which can add up to three miles
of range per minute of charge under ideal conditions.*

RANGE FACTORS

The range you experience may differ from what’s shown on the Multi-Information
Display (MID). Like other Lexus vehicles, RZ predicts expected range based on
your recent driving and may not accurately predict actual range if your driving
pattern changes.

Vehicle range is impacted by a variety of factors, so please plan ahead and
avoid letting your charge get too low.

ADVANCED PARK

Moving in and out of tight parking spots has never been easier. Available
Advanced Park* is designed to control steering, acceleration and braking when
parallel parking or entering/exiting a perpendicular parking space.


DIGITAL LATCH WITH SAFE EXIT ASSIST

Experience where intuitive meets protective. Digital Latch with Safe Exit
Assist* is designed to warn of motorists and cyclists approaching from the rear
to help prevent the door from opening until conditions are determined to be
clear.


LANE CHANGE ASSIST

This available system* can monitor your surroundings during lane changes and
warn you to stay in your lane if another vehicle is detected. When Dynamic Radar
Cruise Control* is in use at highway speeds, Lane Change Assist is initiated by
activating the turn signal and briefly holding the lever. If the system
determines there are no vehicles or obstacles in its path, a smooth and gradual
automatic lane change begins. After a lane change is safely completed, the turn
signal is automatically deactivated.


WIRELESS APPLE CARPLAY®

With wireless access to Apple CarPlay* integration, you can access the same
familiar interface from your iPhone® through the vehicle’s multimedia display.
Get directions, send and receive messages via Siri®* and make calls. Plus, never

WIRELESS ANDROID AUTO™

With wireless access to Android Auto,* you can display your device’s interface

TRAFFIC JAM ASSIST

Like cruise control for when highway traffic isn’t cruising. With an active
Drive Connect trial* or subscription, this available technology* can monitor
surrounding traffic in condensed, low-speed driving situations and automatically
move forward and brake as needed to keep a preset following distance behind the
preceding vehicle. In addition to providing hands-free steering assistance, this
system can automatically bring the vehicle to a complete stop, then resume its
path of travel as forward traffic begins to move.


PANORAMIC VIEW MONITOR

The available Panoramic View Monitor* utilizes four high-resolution cameras
mounted on the front, sides and rear of the vehicle to help give drivers a
bird’s-eye view of the near environment. Moving View and See-Through View
options create a composite image of the vehicle’s surroundings as on-screen
guides help assist with parking and tight maneuvering.


FRONT CROSS-TRAFFIC ALERT

This available system* can detect vehicles and bicycles approaching your path at
intersections and when exiting blind spots like driveways. Operated at low
speeds, the system is designed to indicate which direction crossing vehicles are
approaching from and alert you, first through the Head-Up Display and then by
audio alert. The warning is also displayed on the Panoramic View Monitor* when
in use.


DIGITAL REARVIEW MIRROR

The available Digital Rearview Mirror can help increase your field of vision via
a high-definition camera that's designed to provide an unobstructed view of the
road behind you. Simply toggle the lever to switch between analog and digital
mirror mode.


LEXUS APP

The Lexus app makes the experience of owning an all-electric or plug-in hybrid
Lexus even more rewarding. With an active Remote Connect trial* or subscription,
you can keep track of your charge status, opt-in to offset the charging of your
RZ with 100% renewable energy,* find the nearest public charging station and

HOW DOES THE WEATHER AFFECT DC FAST CHARGING?
PLUS ICON

2024 RZ DC charging* times will increase as the battery temperature decreases,
with significant increases possible at temperatures below freezing. For example,
at 32 degrees Fahrenheit, DC Fast Charging times can increase by approximately
1.5 to 2 times. Charging times will vary based on various factors including
accessory use, battery level and condition, and charger specifications.


HOW FREQUENTLY CAN I DC FAST CHARGE?
PLUS ICON

In order to ensure effective charging and preserve battery health over the life
of the vehicle, please plan no more than three DC fast charging sessions per
day. After three 10–80% state of charge DC charging sessions, a threshold can be
reached, which will result in DC charging speed being significantly reduced.

Over time, the battery will gradually recover. One additional high-speed
DC-charge can be completed after approximately 6 hours, with complete recovery
occurring over the next day. During the recovery time, vehicle driving
performance and Level 1 and Level 2 AC-charging capability remain unchanged.
