3 STEPS TO GET STARTED

We’re always hiring new transcribers to turn audio into text! Work from home on
your own schedule and at your own pace. You’re paid per task, so the more you
work, the more you earn. Start with basic transcription, then earn promotions to
higher paying tasks. Follow our 3 simple steps below to get started. Thank you

SIGN-UP ON WORK MARKET

CrowdSurf uses Work Market to hire and pay all CrowdSurf freelancers. You’ll
join CrowdSurf via Work Market, and work with us on our private editing
platform, the CrowdSurfWork platform. It’s easy to get started.




JOIN CROWDSURF

Work Market uses recruitment groups to connect you with employers offering
freelance work. Once your Work Market account is set up, apply to join CrowdSurf
as a new CrowdSurf transcriber, review the guidelines, and take a brief
assessment to join the CrowdSurf group.




START CROWDSURFING

Once you’ve passed the assessment, we will create a new account for you on the
CrowdSurfWork platform. When your account is ready we will send login
instructions to your Work Market email.

ABOUT CROWDSURF

We are pleased you would like to learn more about CrowdSurf.  We take pride in
providing on-demand transcription and captioning services that make online media
more accessible and enjoyable for deaf and hard of hearing as well as second
language users. We process a variety of online media (ranging from exclusive
interviews to popular cartoons) and we need your help to create clean verbatim
transcripts! Try it out!

We work with thousands of independent freelancers with little or no previous
transcription experience to provide 99% accurate transcripts and video captions.
We provide all of the training and support you need to get started earning money
from home.
