WELCOME TO AMSTERDAM

The city that has something to offer for everybody. From the medieval centre
with it's narrow streets and leaning houses and the picturesque 17th C canal
ring (a World Heritage site) to the newly created islands of IJburg. From small
art galleries and a lively street art scene to the famous Rijksmuseum. From
small artisan shops to street markets and high end shopping streets. From cozy
little cafés to a vibrant night life and music scene. From streetfood and Dutch
cuisine to gourmet restaurants.

FIRST TIME VISITORS

With so much on offer, you might feel overwhelmed with choice, and that’s where
I, Monique, come in. I am a licensed tour guide for Amsterdam and the
Netherlands. I offer private tours for couples, families, friends or colleagues.
For the first time visitor to Amsterdam I recommend an introduction tour of the
city. During this tour you will be able to get your bearings in the city which
will help you to enjoy the rest of your stay even more.


REPEAT VISITORS

Not your first time in Amsterdam? As your private local guide of Amsterdam I can
create a tour tailored to your personal wishes. To give you some ideas:
I can take you on a walking tour of the Jewish Quarter or the Jordaan area. We
can take a bicycle tour of the city, or in the surrounding countryside.
For art lovers I offer an introduction tour of the Rijksmuseum or the Van Gogh
museum.


WHY GUIDE SERVICE.AMSTERDAM?

Nowadays you can find a lot of information online. But you don’t always have the
energy to check it all out. How do you know you're not missing out? Of course,
you can find tours offered by one of the many platforms. But how do you know
whether it's a good fit? I offer a personal experience, with a customized tour
and a flexible starting time. Start from your hotel in the city centre or from
the (river)cruise terminal in Amsterdam. My tours are sustainable walking- or
bicycle tours. There are no hidden costs.

RATES


1 TO 4 PARTICIPANTS

Tours of maximum 2 hours: 125 Euro 
Tours of maximum 4 hours: 195 Euro


5 TO 15 PARTICIPANTS*

Tours of maximum 2 hours: 145 Euro 
Tours of maximum 4 hours: 215 Euro

* if there are more than 8 participants and/or during a museum tour I will use a
quiet vox system to ensure that everybody can hear the guide, the additional
charge is € 2,- per person.

(Prices include 21%VAT)

FOR ALL TOURS THE FOLLOWING APPLIES:

Entrance fees and/or reservation fees are not included. 

Additional € 1,50 per person tax from the Municipality of Amsterdam is not
included in the rates.

Bicycle rent is not included in the above mentioned rates.

Prepayment is required, any bank or credit card charges are at the expense of
the customer.
