Gear up

Once you check-in our skilled team will gear you up with our top-quality
equipment. You will receive a safety briefing and some important tips before
boarding the aircraft. Feeling those butterflies already?

The flight to altitude

The flight to altitude is an exciting part of the experience, offering
breathtaking scenery that will leave you speechless: lush greenery, beaches, and
sparkling blue waters. You may feel a bit nervous…stay calm, focus on your
breathing and enjoy the views!

The free fall

The big moment has come…3, 2, 1…and you drop from the aircraft. All that
accumulated fear is gone. You are free falling for close to a minute with the
biggest smile ever. It feels more like floating, and you cannot get enough of
the amazing views around you.

Fly under a parachute

Time to wear the adrenaline off…the parachute opens and you are gliding through
the sky. It can be as gentle as you want…ask your instructor to do a few spirals
if you want some extra adrenaline!

Land on the beach

After a 5-7 minute parachute flight you will be landing on Bentota Beach,
between the water and the palm trees. As your feet get on the sand you are
feeling euphoric having accomplished something very special.

Keep it forever

Your instructor will capture the full adventure with a wrist-mounted action
camera. You will receive a video edit with 360 views. Relive every thrilling

RUSS

Russ is a seasoned skydive instructor who's taken the plunge over 12,000 times
and counting! With a wealth of experience that spans continents, from Australia
to the USA, Europe and the Middle East, Russ brings a global perspective to the
team. As a skydive instructor, Russ isn't just someone who's navigated the
world's airspace; he's also dedicated to sharing the art and thrill of skydiving
with adventurers of all levels.


TROY

Troy has more than 7,500 skydives under his belt. His journey in the sky isn't
just about the numbers - it's about fostering a safe, exhilarating experience
for each and every dive. His commitment to safety protocols, coupled with a
contagious enthusiasm for the skies, ensures that whether you're a first-time
thrill-seeker or a seasoned adrenaline junkie, your adventure will be nothing

HENRY

Henry has over 6,500 jumps, with experience reaching Australia, Fiji, China, UK,

1 item to tick off from my bucket list :) Had the pleasure of skydiving with the
team today (19th Oct 2024) Greaat experience and service!!! from the hotel to
the airport and back to the hotel had a lot of fun and I will never forget this
experience. The team was clear on the instructions and did all safety checks so

It was an awesome and incredible experience @skydive Sri Lanka. Exceptional
instructors and staff, very professional and friendly. I highly recommend
Skydive Sri Lanka to any diving enthusiasts out there.No need to be nervous
about the safety.They will take care of you all the time.They made sure all were
feeling comfortable and not nervous. The jump was done at 13000ft and had a free
fall for about 60 sec. From the moment we did the dive till we landed on the
beach it took around 6 to 8minutes. You can feel what birds feel and
Breathtaking views made it an unforgettable experience. Right throughout the
dive instructor kept on explaining the process and ensured I was OK. I felt
completely safe throughout the experience.Tip; Please wear a collar less T shirt
to to prevent discomfort from flapping collars during freefall

This was my first jump and that too planned all of sudden. I was travelling
beautiful island Sri Lanka for work and extended my stay for it... The
experience was MEMORABLE..I was getting bit wary of whole process till the ball
start rolling at ratmalana airport with arrival of Russ and Henry. It was
meticulously planned operationally. Just before flying I was bit nervous,trying
to act normal. Was Out of words and sentences. . Then we flew. The view was
majestic, with open aircraft and wind blowing, it felt more real than ever. Then
the jump, the enthralling freefall began. The first feeling of tremendous wind
pressure, I was in bit shock and lot of thoughts started running on my mind just
in few secs. Almost Forgot all my instructions.. till the RUSS pop out just in
front of me or below, in air with his Big Smile- like true professional and I
got my nerves back and then I was able to make few poses . I do regret not been
in good control of myself to look right n left a bit to see Russ manoeuvring in
air. n few more poses also lol. But it was fun and enjoyable from thereon..the
upward push of parachute opening, swirls around to view the most beautiful
scenic view from the top.like you own it , only me above in air with The Henry-
10th or 95th on your back. .. the safe landing at beach. Most importantly it was
safe, Henry was in total control and interacting if n when required during whole
time. One more thing, Henry listened to my concern in mid air n asked me to blow
out air from ear to help me out. Overall it was an enjoyable jump. I will be
doing it for sure again and specially all indians n south asian to do it when in
srilanka. And promote it also . Spread the word.. Kudos to Sky Dive Sri Lanka

Wow, what can I say? I'm still buzzing writing this review over 24 hours after
the skydive with Skydive Sri Lanka. Henry and the team are doing an amazing job.
Professional, very good at explaining every step of the way, and friendly. If
you are even remotely inquisitive about what it is like, you should give it a go
with these guys.For me, it was my first jump, and I had long been apprehensive
about how I would be at the open door, about to jump out. In reality, we were
prepared well and even though I was nervous - once out of the plane it was an
experience I can't describe, AND I WANT TO DO IT AGAIN.If you are thinking of
visiting Sri Lanka you should absolutely put this as the centrepiece of your
holiday, Bentota is close to Colombo with many excellent hotels close to the
take off and landing points. You will definitely see Sri Lanka in a way that few
others can.I can't recommend Skydive Sri Lanka highly enough, just do it.

Where to begin.I was desperate to do a skydive during my time in Sri Lanka so
did a quick Google search and came across Skydive Sri Lanka. To my surprise I
found out it is in its infancy having only been recently established. However
the operation from start to finish couldn’t have been more professional and well
organised. Booking my jump was as easy as I could’ve wished for, and the team
were great in communicating all relevant details prior to the day of the jump,
which helped ensure that everything was as stress free as possible.On the day of
the jump I arrived at the meeting point and was greeted by an experienced diver
who ran through a few details and gave his personal background before getting me
to fill in some straightforward paperwork.Whilst I waited for my turn, I had the
pleasure of sitting by the river with a spectacular view and watching the group
of skydivers on before me complete their jumps, which in itself was quite
something.As anticipation grew, I was introduced to the full team of instructors
who each in their own right were great. We ran through the briefing and had the
full process explained to us as we had our harness things put on for us
(surprisingly comfortable). Then we headed to our vehicle for a short drive
where we had the opportunity to get to know the team better and learn about
their own journeys.Arriving at the airfield, we did a brief chat on camera
(optional) before heading to our plane. Again, the team were super relaxed and
jovial which helped put us at ease and made for a great buildup.After a 20
minute flight to 13,000 ft, we ran over the guidance again before jumping.
There’s very little I can really say about the jump itself, its an extremely
personal experience which I would implore anyone to take on, it really is like
nothing else out there. Freefalling for a minute or two was the most
exhilarating feeling I’ve ever had, followed by around 6 - 7 mins of the most
unbelievable views of the landscape (keep an eye out for Kande Vihara Temple).
To be able to experience such amazing scenery from such a vantage point was
unforgettable and can only hope that wont be the last time I experience it.Few
words about the team - Henry, Russ, Brad and my tandem diver Troy - full of life
and character with a wealth of diving experience amongst them, it was a pleasure
in itself to spend time understanding their backgrounds and plans for the
future. For such an experience they were exactly what I’d want in guiding me
through and no doubt they were a large part of such a great experience so I
can’t thank them enough.I’d say this is a must-do for anyone with even a small
interest in skydiving - I can’t think of a better place to do so or a better
team to do so with.

Lanka. Most professional instructors you’d ever find to skydive with. The
experience will always be amazing but with Skydive Sri Lanka it will be

This is the best experience I’ve ever had in my life , hands-down. ♥️You know
the craziest thing I felt while skydiving? Even though I freefall at 200km/h I
didn’t felt like I was falling. It felt like I was just flying like superman !
The adrenalin rush was crazy I’ve never screamed like that before ♥️ The view
was also breathtaking can’t describe thet feeling when you free-fall into the
sea. Can notice the tiniest details like ships sailing, and the waves crashing..
Felt like I was in heaven for a moment.All thanks to Skydive Srilanka. They are
very professional and safety is their priority. Thanks henry for handling this

It was yesterday that I had the exhilarating experience of skydiving from 13,000
feet with Sky Dive Sri Lanka and their service was extraordinary! As someone who
is typically scared of such activities, I was initially apprehensive. Since my
Partner Loves Sky Diving I joined him to get this Marvelous Experience. However,
the instructors provided clear and reassuring instructions that put me at
ease.The professionalism and expertise of the team were evident throughout the
entire process. They made sure I was comfortable and informed every step of the
way. The first jump was incredible and the landing was smooth and safe, all

This was a 10/10 crazy experience!Taking off from Colombo and seeing the
beautiful scenery taking place on the western coast in Bentota was a treat of
its own. The weather was perfect as well.It was all fun and games enjoying the
scenery until you leaped. it was a very difficult feeling to explain. The change
in one's relaxed state to a free fall state quickly changes your body chemistry
and spikes up your anxiety by a 1000% which i felt lasted for like 5 seconds.
After that feeling passed, the rest was thrilling af . Having the breathtaking
views of the western coastline and the electrifying feeling of being pulled by
gravity at great speeds was a fleeting experience of a lifetime. There was more
to enjoy when the parachute was released as well. Now you get to enjoy some
great views in slow motion and some fun parachute acrobatics done by Henry. The
more we got closer to the beach the more i wished this lasted a few more
minutes. And then you safely land softly and precisely on the marked spot on the
beach. All the butterflies in your stomach slowly start fading and you get a
sense of satisfaction on gaining such a memory.All this enjoyment was possible
because of the amazing and experienced team behind Skydive Sri Lanka. The guy i
jumped with, Henry has done more than 6000 dives and Russ has done more than
14000 which was an overwhelming number for a first timer such as me. This goes
to show that you were in safe hands all this time. Heard they were planning to
add more jumps in the future such as Sigiriya and i cant wait to try it out as
well. Finally im so glad that Sri Lanka got a commercial skydiving gig going on
now, so all the bucket listers who were planning to do this abroad can do it
here.I wish the team behind Skydive Sri Lanka the very best for the future.

It was an awesome and incredible experience @skydive Sri Lanka. Exceptional

Skydive Sri Lanka to any diving enthusiasts out there.Safety is their priority.
From the start instructors Henry, Russ and Troy gave safety briefing and
explained the procedure. After completing documentation, we headed out to
katukurunda Air force base to board the aircraft.They made sure all were feeling
comfortable and not nervous. The jump was done at 13000ft and had a free fall
for about 58 seconds to 01 minute. From the moment we did the dive till we
landed on the beach it took around 6 to 7 minutes. It was a different world once
you jumped out of the aircraft. The adrenaline took over and felt like a bird
flying high. Breathtaking views made it an unforgettable experience. Right
throughout the dive instructor kept on explaining the process and ensured I was
OK. I felt completely safe throughout the experience.

Sky diving was always on my bucket list and glad I could ticked it off thanks to

that we get to experience this in Sri Lanka. Russ and the team were super

What are the minimum requirements to skydive in Sri Lanka?

Age
The minimum age for skydiving is 18 years.
There is no maximum age limit for skydiving, however we do recommend that you
consult a doctor if you have any age related health concerns prior to booking
and payment.

Fitness Requirements
Skydive Sri Lanka requires each tandem customer to meet both the weight and BMI
requirements listed below. These are the equipment’s manufacturer’s requirements
and we cannot make exceptions for safety reasons.

 * Women
   Weight: 90.0 kg/ 198.0 lbs or less;
   BMI: 27.5 or less.
 * Men
   Weight: 100.0 kg/220 lbs or less;
   BMI: 30.0 or less.

*Weight surcharges apply to those 90KG+

Weight is an important consideration. It affects aircraft weight and balance,
fuel allowances, climb rates and equipment maintenance. Every customer will be
weighed at check- in. We must be informed at the time of booking if a customer
weighs 90kg or more. Skydive Sri Lanka reserves the right to refuse service
based on weight if we consider it a safety issue.
The following weight surcharges apply:

 * 90kg and over – $25
 * 94kg and over – $50
 * 97kg and over – $75

Where is Skydive Sri Lanka located?

Our meeting point is at the lobby of Hotel Nilwala, Galle Road, Kaluwamodara,
Bentota 80500 – get directions
We will skydive and land on Bentota Beach.

How experienced is your team?

We have a very experienced international team with decades of collective
experience in the skydiving industry. Having worked at some of the most
prestigious skydiving locations in the world, as skydiving instructors and
operations managers, we are now bringing all our know-how and passion together
to make Skydive Sri Lanka an iconic spot to experience skydiving. And we are
looking forward to sharing the sky with you.

What happens if we cannot jump?

If your skydive does not proceed due to weather conditions or other factors
outside our control, you may choose to either rebook for any of our available
dates, or alternatively receive a complete refund of the booking, less the
transaction fees charged to us by our payment provider.

What is your cancellation and refunds policy?

Changes to Bookings

A booking can be rescheduled for free with 7 days notice.
Any change to the booking date or time within 7 days of the booking will incur a
$75 change fee per person.
Changes to booking date or time within 72 hours of the booking will be at the
absolute discretion of Skydive Sri Lanka, and changes may not be possible due to
aircraft booking requirements and costs already incurred.
It is your responsibility to contact our booking team to arrange any changes in
schedule at the earliest possibility.

Cancellation on our part

If your skydive does not proceed due to weather conditions or other factors
outside our control, you may choose to either rebook for any of our available
dates, or alternatively receive a complete refund of the booking, less the
transaction fees charged to us by our payment provider.

No-shows

 If you do not check in on the day of your booking no refund will be given.  

Medical or unforeseen events

In the case of illness or misadventure preventing you from skydiving, it is your
responsibility to contact our booking team at the earliest possibility to
communicate this with us. We may require you to provide proof of illness (ie.,
medical certificate) or misadventure (ie., cancellation of flights).

Our booking team have discretion to work with your particular situation,
depending on the notice given and the availability of our operations, with
reference to our reschedule and refund policy.

Refund Payments

Any refunds given can take up to 20 business days, and are subject to the refund
processing time of our payment provider. We are not responsible for any changes
in foreign currency value between original purchase and any refund.

Can I Scuba Dive before Skydiving?

Due to medical restrictions, you must not scuba dive within 24 hours of your
scheduled skydive check in time. You must inform Skydive Sri Lanka staff and
your instructor if you have been scuba diving in the preceding 24 hours.
No refund will be given in cases where you cannot jump due to scuba dive
restrictions.

Can I take my own GoPro or action camera?

The use of personal electronic devices, including camera and video equipment, is
not permitted on the aircraft or at any time during the jump. This is a safety
requirement to protect our customers, staff and the general public, and is not
permitted under our operational regulations.

How long does the experience last?

We recommend you allow for a half day activity, although normally it will take
less than 2h to complete the activity.

Do you offer video and photo packages?

Yes, we have photos and video with full 360 views available. Your instructor
will be wearing a wrist-mounted 360 camera, capturing the full experience from
take off to landing. You will receive a video edit and/or a collection of
photos.

Who will be jumping with me?

You will be assigned a skydiving instructor when you check-in. Our international
crew is highly experienced, with thousands of skydives each.

What is your alcohol and drugs policy?

No alcohol, ‘recreational’ drugs or medication that may affect your judgement
are to be present in your system at the time of your jump. You may be refused if
our instructors have reason to believe you are under the influence of any
alcohol or drugs that may impair your judgement.

Do you require personal identification?

Every person booked for a skydive must have a valid passport or Sri Lankan NIC
and will be required to bring it on the day, and may be required to send a
digital copy of identification prior to jumping. Skydive Sri Lanka requires
proof of identity for each person skydiving, and you may be required to present
identification to airport authorities. Skydive Sri Lanka bears no responsibility
if you do not bring valid identifying documents.
