affordable, ethical care for women . Maternity, gynaec, infertility, female
general surgical treatments and pediatrics are some of the services offered at
Sushrut Hospital. The hospital is headed by Dr Maitreyi Dhople and her husband
Dr Uday Dhople. Female surgical services are available under the expert guidance
of Dr Namita Chaudhary. Further expert assistance and guidance is provided by
senior gynecologist, as and when required Expert advice in matters of anesthesia
is provided by Dr Manjusha Save and Dr Smita Rane.

Dr Maitreyi Dhople is one of most soft spoken and empathetic gynecologist that
one could ever hope to find. That coupled with her ethical concerns, high
quality education and 28 years of experience makes her the best choice for women
in the suburbs of Borivali and the adjoining suburbs of Mumbai. She did her MBBS
from the prestigious Topiwala National Medical College and BYL Nair Hospital and
her MD gynaec from the equally prestigious Grant Medical College and Sir J J
group of hospitals in 1994. She then worked as Assistant Professor in Rajawadi
hospital for a year before quitting her job to start her own practice. She has
treated countless patients and delivered huge number of babies some of whom have
now become mothers themselves and have delivered at Sushrut hospital in the same
room in which they were born. Soft spoken nature, high degree of ethics and
great attention to details is responsible for the love and respect which she
gets from her patients. Backing her up for prompt attention during birth of a
newborn baby is her husband, Dr Uday Dhople, who also manages the babies on the
subsequent days with expert and patient advise regarding breast feeding
immunization and management of routine queries of the anxious parents.


Dr Uday Dhople did his MBBS and MD pediatrics from the prestigious Seth G S
Medical College and KEM Hospital in 1993. He started his practice in Jayawant
nursing home in the nearby area in 1994 and has been successfully practicing
ever since. Dr Namita Chaudhary ( Female General Surgeon ) is one of the most
friendly and yet most competent and ethical surgeon that one could hope to be
treated by in the city of Mumbai. She did her MBBS and MS General Surgery from
LTMMC and Sion hospital, a premier civil hospital in the city of Mumbai, 25
years ago. She is an asset to Sushrut Hospital in management of female surgical
illnesses.
