COLORADO CYCLOSPORA OUTBREAK LINKED TO RESTAURANT

The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment investigated an
outbreak of Cyclospora on the Western Slope. As of June 15, there have been 62
cases reported in Colorado since May 1, 2023. These cases have not resulted in
any hospitalizations or deaths. Historically, Colorado has averaged 63 cases per
year between 2017 and 2022.

In the United States, the Salmonella Sundsvall outbreak linked to cantaloupe
from Mexico has been declared over.  The outbreaks sickened 407 people in 44
