Welcome!!! The ILES PTO would like to welcome you to our school. For those of
you who are unfamiliar with us, we are a volunteer organization made up of
parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff who are all dedicated to
the successful education of our children. The ILES PTO works hard to help make
the school year both enjoyable and exciting for students, teachers and parents.
The purpose of our organization is to aid the students and staff by providing
support for educational and recreational needs; to promote open communication
between administration, teachers, and parents and to encourage ILES spirit and
pride. The PTO uses its resources; both manpower and monetary, to support the
efforts of the staff at ILES. We are looking forward to meeting families,
parents and grandparents that would like to get involved with our PTO this
school year. We encourage you to not only join our organization, but get
involved as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers and we are always
looking for those of you to help make a difference in the lives of our children.
Every positive imprint we make on our children can go a long way. If you are
able to give some time, days or evenings, please join us! Many hands make each
job easier. Your participation and help will make this a great school year. The
ILES PTO typically meets in the cafeteria or virtually. We will discuss events,
plan fundraisers, and share ideas. This is a great way to find out what is
happening at ILES from the PTO's perspective. We in the PTO believe that it is
of the ultimate importance that we do everything we can to enhance the learning
environment of our children; as they are our future. It will take us all working
together to make this happen. We are looking forward to a great year and getting
to know everyone!

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 * How often is membership renewed?
   
   The PTO membership is for the school year and will end at the beginning of
   the following school year. We have had items that needed to be voted on over
   the summer, so please be sure to respond if that occurs as you are still an
   active member until the following school year begins.

 * How do I reserve one of the rocks?
   
   Send an email to the Spirit Rock box, ilespiritrock@gmail.com, to ensure your
   date and specific rock are available. Make payment within 3 days of
   confirmation to avoid cancellation. Your rock is available at 5PM of your
   confirmed date.

 * Can the PTO paint the rock for me?
   
   While we love all of our students at ILE, the PTO does not have rock painting
   services or provide the paint/supplies. It is fun to do with your family! no
   fancy paint is needed. Have fun with it, and be sure to wear old clothes when
   doing it.

 * How much paint do I need when doing the rock?
   
   You can use latex or spray paint. If spraying, it can take 3-4 cans to cover,
   depending on your color and what you will be covering. Foam bushes work best
   for detail work and a roller works for the base coat.

 * How do I become an approved volunteer to participate in any school function?
   
   You must fill out the online application at
   https://appgarden6.app-garden.com/VolTrackSC2901.nsf . Once you have been
   approved, you will receive an email confirmation. All new applicants will
   need to send copy of their drivers license to: school.volunteers@lcsdmail.net

 * How does my company become a corporate sponsor?
   
   Our sponsors are important to our organization and our community. To become a
   corporate sponsor, please email ilescorporatesponsors@gmail.com. We would
   love to have you as a part of our team.
