This informal monthly peer support and social gathering was designed by the coordinators of PTK (Parents of Trans Kids) to provide a safe space for youth who are transgender or gender diverse to connect, express, and ask questions of one another and their mentor. Youth between the ages of 10-21 are welcome to attend; exceptions made when youth outside those age parameters are interested and would benefit. Currently, meetings are held remotely and moderated by a licensed psychotherapist and former educator. Contact PTKDelaware@gmail.com for information about the parent group and contact maggiedmccool@gmail.com with questions about youth meetings.
