Planning a trip to Sin City? The stories that come from Las Vegas go to show
that anything can happen in a city that knows no limits.

If you think you’ve heard some crazy stories about the city, there’s a chance
you’ve never learned the moments that show what happens in Las Vegas, should
stay in Vegas. It’s thought there are almost 200,000 hotel rooms in Vegas, the
brightest light in the world that shines from the Luxor, and plenty of ladies of
the night who advertise on every corner. What does all of that mean? There are
plenty of places to hide in the city, meaning just about anything goes. If you
want a wild weekend with no rules, it could be time to book your own trip to
Vegas.


SOME PEOPLE WILL DO ANYTHING TO GET SOME MORE CHIPS AT THE CASINO

Most of my family grew up in Vegas, meaning I had to drive there a lot when I
was a kid. At the time, I had no idea how many people were just there to cheat
on their families, but that’s another story. Most of my cousins ended up working
in casinos and had all kinds of tales to tell.

I remember one of them telling me about how families would use their mortgage,
sell their house, empty their retirement, and do just about anything to get some
money to gamble. Apparently, one couple tried to trade their children for some
more chips. Of course, they were turned away, but it goes to show that some
people really will do anything to gamble.




IT’S BEST NOT TO THREATEN DEALERS IN LAS VEGAS

I took a friend of mine to Vegas to have some fun. We ended up at a blackjack
table with just me, him, and the dealer. That was until this other dude comes
in. He slams about $20,000 onto the table and says he wants to play five hands
at once. He then proceeds to bet $1,000 on each hand only to learn none of them
won.

This was just the start. He does the same thing again and really loses it when
he realizes he’s $10,000 down. The guy jumps up and starts threatening the
dealer, but the security guards are quick on it and start to tase the guy. My
friend and I just sat there and watched it all unfold.


MESSING WITH SECURITY GUARDS COULD GET YOU KICKED OUT OF LAS VEGAS

I was in Las Vegas when a friend of mine messed up. He drank way too much and
got kicked out of the club. He bumped into one of the other guys from the party
on the way back to the hotel, who somehow convinced him they could get back in.
As soon as my friend steps through the door, security is on him and drags him to
the parking lot.

They handcuffed him to a bench until a cab arrived, slipped the driver some
money, and off he went. It turns out he woke up to the cab driver pulling him
out the back of his car five miles outside of town. Thankfully, he eventually
managed to get back to Vegas.
