WELCOME TO THE DDBP 2024 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE



On behalf of the Organizing and Programme Committees, it is our great pleasure
to welcome you to the 4th International Conference on Disinfection and
Disinfection By-Products (DDBP 2024), which will take place in Almería, Spain,
October 21st – 24th 2024.

The Disinfection and Disinfection By-Products conference is the international
event promoted by the IWA Disinfection Specialist Group related to disinfection,
disinfection by-products and related topics.

The conference stands as a relevant and well-recognized network opportunity for
sharing the expertise of water professionals worldwide to promote innovative
shared visions with respect to conference topics and shaping the future of water
management.

After three successful past editions, in Mexico, China and Italy, the 4th
edition of the DDBP conference will take place in October 2024 in Spain and will
be hosted by the Solar Energy Research Center, CIESOL, joint center between the
University of Almería and the CIEMAT-Plataforma Solar de Almería.

The DDBP 2024 conference can be considered a recognized and influential event
for the whole community of water professionals, including academia, industry,
water utilities, policymakers and other stakeholders of the water sector.

With all these ingredients, we are sure that we can offer you an excellent
conference, in which we are all the protagonists. We hope to see you all in
Almería soon!
