Gillian Bayford, 47, repeatedly hit Gavin Innes on the head and neck “to his injury” on three separate occasions in 2017, it is alleged. Bayford scooped £148million with her now ex-husband Adrian in 2012 - making them the UK's third biggest winners ever. The charge against Bayford alleges that she attacked him on three occasions between August 1, 2017 and October 31, 2017. It’s claimed the offences happened at an address in upmarket Adam Drive in Dundee and at another in Auchterhouse, Angus, the Daily Record reports. She won £148million with her husband Adrian in 2012 ( Image: SWNS.COM) The charge against her claims: “It will be proved in terms of Section 1 of the Abusive Behaviour and Sexual Harm (Scotland) Act 2016 that the aforesaid offence was aggravated by involving abuse of your partner or ex-partner.” Bayford did not attend a procedural hearing yesterday at Dundee Sheriff Court. Her lawyer said she maintained her not guilty plea and they were ready for the trial, which will start next month. Bayford began a relationship with former school friend Gavin after splitting from Adrian. Bayford is charged with attacking Gavin Innes ( Image: Collect Unknown) Gavin campaigns on Facebook and Twitter to raise awareness of the problem of men who suffer violence at home, and the plight of their children. It is understood he hoped Bayford would help him launch a Tayside charity to tackle the issue. Bayford, a former hospital cleaner, was living in Suffolk with Adrian when they won the jackpot. She returned to her native Scotland with their two children after the split.
