NOMINEES FOR 9TH RAWR AWARDS

LionhearTV prepares for the 9th RAWR Awards to celebrate excellence in showbiz

Entertainment-Lifestyle website LionhearTV recently commemorated its 15th
anniversary in October and is now diligently gearing up for the 9th RAWR Awards.
This annual extravaganza stands as a testament to LionhearTV's unwavering
commitment to recognizing and celebrating excellence in the dynamic showbiz
industry.

The RAWR Awards has morphed into a dazzling spectacle, drawing together not only
the robust support of 250 new media practitioners (bloggers) from all corners of
the Philippines but also the enthusiastic backing of PR groups and fans ardently
supporting their favorite nominees.

The inception of the RAWR Awards traces back to 2015, an era when the blogging
community was burgeoning. However, it was evident that there was a conspicuous
gap in acknowledging and honoring the voices of bloggers and their ardent
readers. To fill this void, LionhearTV conceived the RAWR Awards.

Year after year, the RAWR Awards are presented through the LionhearTV.net
platform, aptly christened after the mighty lion, symbolizing the strength and
influence these awardees hold in the entertainment sphere. These accolades are
dedicated to individuals who have left an indelible mark on the industry.

In the nascent stages, the awards were exclusively organized by LionhearTV, with
victors chosen by the website's loyal readers. Over time, the voting process
extended to encompass more than 100 bloggers from various regions of the
Philippines, each representing a diverse niche within the bustling blogging
community.

Despite the vicissitudes encountered along this journey, the unwavering
commitment to this cause remains steadfast, driven by the belief that this
represents the collective voice of the blogging community, a voice deserving of
recognition and acclaim within the broader entertainment panorama.

The RAWR Awards are divided into four principal categories: Lion, Cub, Pride,
and SILOG Awards. The Cub Awards encompass nine subcategories, encompassing
distinctions such as Beshie ng Taon, Favorite Bida, Favorite Kontrabida,
Breakthrough Artist, Favorite Newbie, Bet na Bet na Teleserye, Song of the Year,
Movie of the Year, and Digital Series.

The Lion Awards feature nine categories, venerating luminaries including the
Actor of the Year, Actress of the Year, Pak na Pak na Comedian, Male News
Personality of the Year, Female News Personality of the Year, Love Team of the
Year, Favorite Performer of the Year, Favorite TV Host, and Favorite DJ.

The Pride Awards, on the other hand, encapsulate four categories, paying homage
to entities such as the Radio Station of the Year, TV Station of the Year,
Favorite Group, and Fan Club of the Year. Lastly, the SILOG Awards boast an
impressive array of 17 categories, celebrating digital influencers and content
creators,

spanning domains like Art, Content Creation, Cosplay, Couples, Digital
Influence, Drag, Fashion/Beauty, Food/Travel, Gaming, Health/Fitness, Influencer
Families, LGBTQIA, Parenting, Podcasts, Streaming, Short-Form Vlogging, and
Long-Form Vlogging.

The RAWR Awards, with a cumulative count of 31 categories, in conjunction with
the SILOG Awards, featuring 17 categories, furnish the Philippine entertainment
industry with an illustrious platform for appreciation and commendation.

Fans play a pivotal role in determining the victors, holding 66.66% of the
voting authority. This authority is parceled into two equitable segments: 33.33%
from online votes via the official website and KTX and another 33.33% from
online searches conducted within LionhearTV, Dailypedia, and PH Entertainment.
The remaining 33.33% is contributed by the blogging community, PR entities, and
brand partners.

The RAWR Awards transcend merely recognizing local talent; they also endeavor to
forge stronger alliances with like-minded partners who share the same vision.
These awards serve as an opportunity for LionhearTV.net to extend its heartfelt
gratitude to everyone who has fervently backed the website since its inception.

The polls for voting your favored nominees in their respective categories are
now live and accessible through LionhearTV's RAWR Awards website. Voting will
continue until December 4, 11:59 PM.
Show your support, and let your voice be heard in celebrating the best of
Philippine showbiz.

UST TOPS OFF HENRY SY, SR. HALL AT MANILA CAMPUS

The artist’s rendition of the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall, which will rise near Gate 10
(Dapitan St)

The University of Santo Tomas (UST) held the topping off ceremony of the Henry
Sy, Sr. Hall last October 7, 2023. The ceremony is a builder’s tradition that
highlights the placement of the final beam on top of the structure.

Heads of the UST and HSFI, led by Very Rev. Fr. Richard Ang,O.P. FMS Dean Dr.
Ma. Lourdes Maglinao, and Debbie Sy, at the topping off ceremony last October 7,
2023

The seven-storey building is a tribute of the Sy family, the SM Group, and UST
to the SM founder for his life-long education advocacy. It is equally a
manifestation of the ever-growing desire of the UST Research and Endowment
Foundation, Inc., Anargyroi: FMS Foundation, Inc. (AFI) and the 152-year old UST
Faculty of Medicine and Surgery (FMS) to further level up in the field of
medicine.

The Henry Sy, Sr. Hall will serve as a hub for simulation in medical education,
interactive student centered-learning, collaborative multidisciplinary research,
and interprofessional education. It will house the Sts. Cosmas and Damian
Simulation and Research Center.

(from left) SM Foundation (SMFI) SAVP for Education Eleanor Lansang, SM
Investments VP for Securities Judith Balderrama, Henry Sy Foundation (HSF)
treasurer Virginia Yap, UST-FMS Dean Dr. Ma. Lourdes Maglinao, SMFI Executive
Director and HSF Trustee Debbie Sy, HSF Executive Director Dr. Lydia Echauz,
SMFI and HSF Trustee Engr. Ramon Gil Macapagal are welcomed by Dr. Joreen
Rocamora, Director

“The Henry Sy, Sr. Hall will be a state-of-the-art structure designed to meet
the challenges and expectations of a digitally-inclined medical education
landscape. It will house technologically advanced facilities and equipment,
which will complement the existing teaching, learning, and research practices of
the University. It is yet another milestone, securing the UST FMS a relevant
spot, a significant spot in Catholic medical education in the country, the
region, and the world.” FMS Dean Dr. Ma. Lourdes Maglinao said about the Henry
Sy. Sr. Hall.

“Medical students can access a broad range of digital tools and resources to
enhance their learning and education as we were compelled to shift to e-learning
and online course platforms,” UST Rector, Very Rev. Fr. Richard G. Ang, O.P.,
said.

“Nowadays, keeping up with the advances in medical education is paramount to
ensure that our students are competent, agile, and well-prepared to meet the
challenges and opportunities of the ever-changing educational landscape of
modern medicine, and this building, this edifice, will give us state-of-the-art
equipment, which will give our medical students a cutting-edge knowledge on how
to use robotics as well as other equipment,” Fr. Ang added.

Designed by C.A. Ventura & Partners, the Henry Sy, Sr. Hall is on track to be
completed by June 2024.

IQOR QARES LAUNCHES ‘OPENING DOORS TO EDUCATION’ SCHOOL SUPPLY DONATION

iQor Qares in the Philippines recently donated school bags and school supplies
to elementary schools as part of an initiative to empower young students and
create awareness about the importance of education.

iQor Qares Philippines Foundation is a nonprofit charitable organization that
supports iQor employees, their families, and their communities in need of
financial assistance due to life-altering or catastrophic events.

The board of directors of iQor Qares Philippines Foundation and the steering
committee worked together to gather donations from employees and enlisted the
assistance of the senior leadership and human resources teams to pack the school
bags.

The administrative team delivered the school supplies, including notebooks,
pencils, dictionaries, whiteboards, markers, modeling clay, rulers, and
protractors, to the following schools:

Kevin Murphy, Vice President of Operations at iQor, shares smiles with the
students of Monicayo Elementary School in Mabalacat, Pampanga, as they receive
school bags and supplies from the iQor Qares Foundation

• Angeles City, Pampanga – Cutcut Elementary School

• Mabalacat, Pampanga – Monicayo Elementary School

• Santa Rosa City, Laguna – Macabling Elementary School

• Dasmariñas City, Cavite – Paliparan 3 Relocation Site through the Kristong
Hari Parish

“It was a wonderful experience having not only our senior leaders from the
Philippines take part but also our chief operations officer and the other
country leads from Trinidad, Colombia, and India all lend a

hand to pack 500 school bags for distribution here,” said Kevin Murphy, vice
president of operations. “Seeing the impact iQor Qares has had on so many really
puts a smile on my face, and our team values what our organization is doing for
employees and our community at the same time.”

Since early 2023, iQor Qares has provided financial assistance to iQor employees
in the Philippines who have faced life-altering events and hardships.

The organization also believes in giving back to the communities in which iQor
operates, especially focusing on supporting public elementary school students
and addressing the challenges many children face in accessing quality education.

“By rolling up their sleeves and actively engaging in the event, senior
leadership exemplified the very essence of being an iQorian by setting a
tangible and inspiring example for all employees.

Their presence and participation sent a clear message that the company's values
are not just words on paper but deeply ingrained in our actions,” said James
Down, senior director of operations.

“The ‘Opening Doors to Education’ project reflects our commitment to making
education accessible and inspiring students to prioritize their learning. By
offering school supplies, the initiative aims to alleviate the financial burden
on families who struggle to afford basic educational materials.

Moreover, it provides an opportunity for students to build their confidence and
self-esteem. We hope that this project will inspire more people to contribute
and initiate similar projects, ultimately creating a positive impact on
education in the regions where iQor operates,” said Fleurette Navarro, chief
people officer at iQor and chairperson of iQor Qares Philippines Foundation.

HEALTHY AND COMFORTABLE: THE NEW TCL UV CONNECT+ AIR CONDITIONER GIVES A SUPERB
COOLING EXPERIENCE

Not all air conditioners are created equal. With a lot of choices in the market
coming out nowadays, you might be given a lot of options to try on. But when it
comes to enjoying a perfect balance of cool air while pampering your well-being
and ensuring ultimate comfort, there’s something that can fit into your
preference.

TCL, the leading consumer electronics company, launches the newest UV Connect+
Air Conditioner. It’s about time to discover a breath of fresh and healthy
living.

The TCL UV Connect+ Air Conditioner is defined as the next level of coolness. It
is more about comfort and convenience for everyone. Definitely an upgrade on
your regular air conditioning unit because of its topline cooling and cleaning
aspects such as Gentle Breeze, CleanXpress, and Extreme Cooling.

The Future of Staying Cool

You can fully enjoy comfortable cooling with soft laminar airflow as highlighted
by the Gentle Breeze feature. The TCL UV Connect+ Air Conditioner is made of 18
S-shaped blades with 1422 micro-holes that break up the airflow and even out the
wind. It creates a comfortable indoor environment and avoids the dryness of
direct blowing wind.

For the CleanXpress highlight, this one provides a systematic clean solution
from reminding to cleaning as it becomes automatic.  It also has a 3-step Auto
Clean that works from frosting, and defrosting to

drying, its deep clean feature also utilizes water molecules in the air to clean
away dust, dirt, and other impurities. Likewise, the Filter cleaning reminder
appears on the TCL home app and front panel.

To top it all off, the Extreme Cooling feature makes cooling possible in any
room temperature conditions. Keep your cool even on a scorching day and even
stay cooler no matter the temperature. Its air-cooled E-box ensures continuous
cooling even at 60°C ambient and 100% cooling capacity output at 50°C ambient.

An Air Conditioner Like No Other

The TCL UV Connect+ Air Conditioner also has its secondary features that can
best suit your busy lifestyle.

Looking for a healthy filter feature, this air conditioner unit is created with
a 6-in-1 filter system including a silver ion filter, active carbon filter,
catechin filter, photocatalyst filter, anti-dust filter, and vitamin C filter,
which keeps away from bacteria.

While the UVC Sterilization Pro emits ultraviolet light that offers superior
performance in countering toxins. A certified purification procedure that
destroys the DNA / RNA of viruses and bacteria – delivering sterilized air, with
no negative side effects.

The best feature of TCL UV Connect+ Air Conditioner is the IOT Connection which
gives you the convenience of connection with just a click on your mobile phone
device through the TCL Home App.

You can control the room temperature, set its 8 flow angles, monitor the
self-diagnosis of the air conditioner unit, and even manage the electricity that
you use.

The TCL UV Connect+ Air Conditioner prices vary from Php 20,000 - Php 30,000 per
dealer store with HP capacity of the aircon of 1.0HP and 1.5HP. For more

5. Direct X deals - I made several partnerships with different brands. They
usually give you the product in exchange for reviews. Some are just borrowed
like cars or cellphones, some are in exchange for cash, restaurant food, collab
or gift certificates. Some are simply thank you for promoting them.

Some bloggers are earning millions of dollars already. You may adopt their style
of blogging or promotion. Be patient enough and consistent because this is not
an overnight event. Good luck and Happy Blogging!

USING WISE AS A FINANCIAL ELECTRONIC BANKNOTES IN BLOGGING AND FREELANCING

Freelancing and working from home is very challenging and rewarding. 2 years
ago, I encountered a client who paid per hour for doing certain tasks. However,
the mode of payment is not the usual via PayPal or bank transfer. But its via
Wise transfer so that pursue me to open up a wise account.

Most of my blogging clients who pay well are based in US and UK. So either they
use wise or paypal as a mode of payment. As a blogger, I consider myself as well
as a business owner. And my clients are my customer, whatever make them
comfortable I usually adjust especially in the mode of payment.

I used to have a crypto client before in blogging who used to pay me via coins.
What did I do? I convert those funds into PayPal, Coins and Gcash. Coz it's
easier to transfer, you just need to pay minimal conversion or exchange fees.

As a blogger, I used to do partnerships with different brands. And wise seems to
be a wise solution. You need to speak their language unless they won't hear you.
The good thing about Wise is that you can convert it into paypal or transfer it
directly to your bank account.

All you need to do is to take care and patronize the business and style of your
clients. You just need to adhere to their requirements, deliverables, and goals.
May it be in a form of blogging, customer support, programming, social media,
sales, or tech support. So you will have a long healthy relationship or business
partnership with them.

4TH OF JULY AND JUNE 12

4th of July marks the US Independence from Great Britain in 1776. Declaration of
Independence like what we did here in the Philippines on June 12, 1898, from
Spain.  I just ask myself what if the US is still part of the UK and the
Philippines is still part of the Spain?

May our life still become progressive or more accessible? Or maybe more advanced
when it comes to technology and infrastructure government system. These holidays
were celebrated and there is no work for both countries.

You may see parades, concerts, programs, family gatherings, beach travel, and
BBQ feast. But whatever it is may the fireworks to Cherish countries freedom and
honor for those who fought and sacrificed for it.

What is it for me? Happy 4th of July to all my friends and family out there.
Since I like Boxing and NBA. I always heard the Land of the Free and Philippine
theme song sung on major sporting events. With deep lyrics meaning related to
Freedom and Independence.

THOUGHTS ON CURRENT RUSSIAN MUTINY

Just like in every war, there is mutiny or in favor of the opposition. The
current situation in Russia with around 25k belongs to the Wagner Group out of
1.15m Russian soldiers. In my opinion, it is not the actual numbers.

Nobody was going to March or surrender the entire Army Camp without the
invisible power or supporter of some Russian political or military groups.
Without a single shot to one of the strongest military HQ.

Just like in the Edsa revolution and Magdalo mutiny that happened a couple of
decades and years ago in the Phillippines. Some became successfully overthrown
the President, and some are not.

My thoughts on every soldier who is going to invade or kill poor people in
another country are just like what the great boxer Ali said. Who was sent to
jail and removed from his boxing belt world title.

Because he refused to kill poor people from other country was very humane. I
hope that every people who hold power remember that Ali’s men of power used his
power, personal sacrifices, and influence to protect the majority.

THEY MAY COME AND GO BUT BLOGS ARE STILL HERE

You may see that the famous TV noontime show eat bulaga and wowowin come and go
and change channels for the past several years. Even radio and streaming podcast
services bid to say goodbye. Coz they are losing money per show and advertiser
are not into them anymore.

But blog are still here, people may like social media like NAS daily and Vice
videos on social media but they admitted recently losing money per taping and
even some of them went bankrupt.

I started this blog more than a decade ago, in a blogspot platform then got a
.com then a .net sponsorship or partnership. You still need to be creative and
useful to somebody in order to survive or succeed.

Blog sometime are like bulletin board, sometimes business, public info, press
releases, events and quite personal. We may not get as many likes or views but
we are still here surviving.

And like they said blog are still forever and will remain in internet universe.
Like print media or newspaper still surviving and alive. I noticed that even Mr
Beast even declined billion dollar buyout from a TV network and some celebrities
are losing to online influencer and bloggers when it comes to sponsorship.

It is true that everybody is replaceable and people come and go. We are living
in a world of changes like the great company of Kodak, Yellow Pages, Nokia,
Multiply, Sulit, Friendster became so cool back then but now nothing, and it was
just a great memory of the past.

So businesses don't hesitate to contact, collab and do business with us. We are
like an insurance policy and creative form of advertising. You may access or
Google anytime anywhere. That protects the investment that you made through your
company that will truly last forever.

PEKENG GANGSTER VS PEKENG JOKER

I think the Blood Bath 2 will happen again between Pricetagg at Makagago Wazzup
Man. I'm a fan of both Artist, the reason why I put Pekeng Gangster Vs Pekeng
Joker is because Im a fan of Fliptop hiphop culture.

Everybody wanted to laugh and this is all about entertainment. Sometime goes too
personal that will lead to boxing or brawl fight. Even suing each other on legal
court or even settled in a sucker punch.

We knew the Nature of Pricetagg he is a cool hit OPM singer of Pahina and
Kontrabida the songs that I like. With an OG image that is happening in the real
world.

Almost all hiphop artist borrow hot cars, rented mansion, collab with models or
even jewelry for promotion. We all knew that even Emenem, Snopp and Floyd does
that.

But MG a bully by nature himself expose it like a real big issue. For the views,
ads and buzz. This is his Character like what he did to QC Mayor. After he knew
that he only have a platoon of bouncer BG and this Mayor is so powerfull with a
Brigade of Police and Authority Power.

He said sorry, same with the Talent Manager who is actually rich that can hire
several lawyers to sue him. He diss and collab same with Leng and other famous
artist. Fight and apologize for popularity, business and ads.

Hope both party will continue to entertain us. As we see, this stir a tremendous
amount of anger and laughter. So you know this is like WWE pure entertainment.
And non stop comedy action music reality show.

FAKE GUCCI AND MOTIVATIONAL RICE

The recent social media buzz telling about motivational and gucci rice. All both
are absolutely fake. These influencers should not be praise for endorsing fake
representation of our national food.

Gucci a billion dollar company might sue this influencer for misrepresentation
telling the public that this food product can of rice is worth 20 000 euros or
1.2 million pesos.

Although it is used for fun, homour and degrading poor peoples problem. It is
still an abuse of freedom of speech. Directly hitting the poor people but also
earning from them via ads or social media buzz exposure.

It is like a cock fight to make the poor people angry and rich people to be
curious so that both can generate buzz and public attention. Also can earn from
it via article, videos or social media ads.

As a vlogger, influencer, bloggers or social media alpha. We all have goals, but
please stop telling people what is absolutely not true. Like those influencers
who say gambling bought them sports car and nice houses.

Like this rice can motivate you or something. Or even making a popular brand
part of that circus. It is fun, but always think if its true.

Real talk:

Magtravel or cruising kasi kau doon nyo makikita ang $1-50 cup of rice. Normal
yn depende sa venue at exclusivity ng place.

D naman rice ang binayaran mu e place or venue at service yan. Walang Gucci rice
okrai lng yn pantapal sa so kupal thick face na endorsement ni Rendon.

INVESTING ON YOUR OWN EDUCATION

I finished my computer science degree back 2005, I thought that was the end of
the schooling. From that time, it would be a professional game field when I got
the corporate job. In addition, the benchmark or name of the game is the salary
or position in any company.

Little that I know of, those who became successful pursuing corporate or
business success does involve learning every single day.  Couple of years later
I wanted to study Masters or Pursue Law but it did not materialize. Because
there is a lot of distraction like when I have the money, I travelled and play
sports a lot on my free time. Until that dream became just a wish. Who knows I
might do it later.

In addition, 10 years ago I considered studying advance programming because of
the huge Tech bubble like developing software. Then the last time I visit Flying
school on my early 30’s, I said I was too old for that. When I saw many people
studying there are older than I am, like on their late 40’s and 50s even 60s.

I asked them Am I too old to became a Pilot? They said no, one of them mentioned
that before they do not have money to finance their study but right now after
saving enough for school. They can already afford to pursue the Pilot school
dreams. That give me a little hope since the released of the original top gun I
saw 20 years ago and then this year 2023.

Seems like Maverick is reminding me to follow his path. It may not be in a form
of fighter jet but maybe in a form of Luxury plane or chopper. I might
considering of doing this schooling later. Even I was working in the outsourcing
industry for the past 18 years. The learning cycle is every day, we even have to
study a lot of videos, recordings, scripts and products script modifications
from time to time.

Made me realized that if you wanted to dominate your industry. You must know
really your craft really well than any person in the planet. Moreover,
continuous education is a lifelong education commitment either you are selling
yourself to a company or somebody every single day. Alternatively, growing your
own business, you need to understand those different learning progress
activities and programs. To improve your numbers and results.

Then constantly improve on those chosen fields. It is not that easy and most of
the time it requires a lot of time, passion and money as well. It also changes
from time after time, year after year. Before I wanted to be a Programmer, then
a Pilot, Lawyer, Business Owner or even a highest paid CEO. Moreover, these
positions requires a lot of learning and work hours to invest with.

Going back in college 2 decades ago, I never thought that I would be back
someday of being a student again. However, the reality is that we are all
student of game called life. In the world of uncertainties and wants, we can all
pursue any form of degree or education with the help of student loans.

The last time I check the Pilot Schooling different schools in the Philippines
and US is between 2-5 million pesos or between 40 000 to 100 000 US dollars. It
depends on the school and aircraft to be use as a training ground. It is quite a
little high, but if we work like other self-supporting Pilot students did
before. It is achievable; it may be in a form of scholarship or form of working
student or even business or family support funds.

OIL USE LIKE MONEY LAUNDERING

With the recent sanction of the US and European Union to cut ties in getting oil
from Russia. I can still see a lot of conspiracy theories about of disposing
those oil at a discounted price via Saudi or China. Then distributed to those
European countries like the way they got it in Russia at the same regular price.

Same with countries that are rich in oil create chaos, civil war, and conflicts
to make it profitable to any party. This is a never-ending process, you
sanctioned those countries, they distributed it to other allies, and replenish
it to your allies and this is a never-ending process like nothing happened.

By the end of the day, people in Russia and Ukraine are paying the price for
those conflicts. Coz by the end of the war there is no real winner, but all
losers. Both parties the question of who won? No, the real question is how many
are the casualties? and left?

IS MICROBLADING APPLICABLE FOR MEN?

Edwin Lisa told us that he was a married guy and started as a barber who got his
training in Singapore. And he is using materials from European country’s
high-quality pricey brands. A cheap microblading service may result in
discoloration in the long run.

Like the pigments, they use to achieve quality. As eyebrow artists, they have
also branding like the normal master or doctoral degrees.  So the charge varies
from expertise, some customers have to remove their tattoo because it is not
done by a professional and may result in a scratch on the eyebrow.

Edwin measures the eyebrow techniques on how to format it with the shape
proportionate with your face. So it will not be painful or ugly. The test trial
and error eyebrow microblading approach may stay for a year or two. So most
women did their lips and eyebrows with his clinics. Edwin also did his lips as
well aside man brows.

They also offer facial, hair, slimming, eyes, and noselift. Any part of the body
that needs to be done they have it. Edwin also offers training for people who
wanted to start a business like this would cost starting at 1.5m. He even has
several scholars who are into this profitable business right now. So if you
really like to look attractive or feel to start a business like this visit the
grandmaster clinic.

You may make an appointment reservation they have an ongoing 50% discount this
December on this ff. branches in Sm City Manila 09190928541, Lucky Chinatown
